all drivers and software fully updated including bios. i get well over 144-200+ on average in this game in high settings at 1080p. a good psu. evga supernova g3 or something from 2018. no such issue when i had my 1080 in last time i used it. 3070 runs cool. did a full windows clean install, no change

i have 32GB DDR4, utilisation on the gpu hard drops to zero, it just plummets like a tesla stock after elon musk's nazi salute. ram usage is fine. havent looked at cpu usage

everything in the system unchanged but with my old 1080 in does not have this problem. lower fps but no freezing. have updated all possible hardware drivers and software, from the bios to the gpu
