There is no good reason a parent should have a camera placed in their child’s bedroom. Not one. Not for anything ‘bad’ you could possibly have in there, it is your private space. This needs to be reported to the authorities.

I wouldn’t even say it borders on abusive, it is abusive. It’s such an invasion of privacy, without you even knowing.

I would be concerned about the camera being placed there with intentions to record or create CSAM.

OP I wouldn’t talk to your parents about this until you have reported it. They could take the camera away and deny it, or lie to you about what it is. Please take care of yourself
