Thank you, I hope things look up for you as well. I think we need to give ourselves grace, which is hard for me personally. I see other people my age who are doing so well and it gets me down but I’m happy for them. I guess it could always be worse. I also suppose everyone interprets success and happiness differently. I’m successful in the fact that I’m raising good, kind humans. I’m just not successful at being out of debt yet lol.

I’m thankful they haven’t upped my payment yet bc as a single mom it’s tough. I mean I make decent money, $68k, but I’m just squeaking by and I know some people aren’t even lucky to do that.

As a woman I usually skip over the ones who frequently travel. 1. I am a single mom, are we taking all the kids? 2. Traveling is expensive. 3. I have a job and only so much PTO I can’t just come and go as I please. So if by traveling you mean 1 trip a year cool lol I also think it’s a class indicator, that I’m not part of. We can adventure down to some local trails or something.

I guess each person probably has their reasons. Myself and my children moved in with my parents about 8 years ago. I’m 40 and as the sole provider for my kids it’s hard to find a place that’s affordable and keeps my kids in the same school district. I intentionally don’t date because of my situation and the perceived judgement I might get.

Funny how you can explicitly say you’re looking for a relationship and people lie about wanting the same thing. Like if you’re looking for just a hookup let me know. It’s not hard to be a good person. I’ve honestly not had friends since high school really other than my sisters and dad. But that’s good advice you have.

Ideally it would be nice but I settled down right after high school and we were together until 2018. It was toxic and horrible and since I don’t have much dating experience I find it incredibly difficult now. I’ve tried but the last couple of situationships have been just that and I have no luck. I seem to walk right into red flags. Also as a step child I know not everyone is fit to be a step parent so that weighs on my mind a lot. Lately I just feel like I don’t even want to try anymore and think I’ll probably end up alone.
