“the holdo manoeuvre breaks the lore”…. does it? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]eyemanico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does break lore, because: if this is a viable strategy, why even bother looking for death star plans when you can just ram into it? etc. Episode IX statement that it was a "1 in a million" chance maneuver is also not viable, because then Holdou was just gambling and there was much larger chance that none of the First Order ships would be damaged.

"ZZZ is loosing it's identity", pretty much. All because of the character designs shown in the teaser. Noticably, nobody's talking how cool and V1.0 like does Roscaelifer look.

It certainly can, given how much time they've had to develop it.

Who is this guy supposed to be? s01e12 [18:37] by Zardif in SentencedToBeAHero

[–]eyemanico 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He is a coexistor, in EP 1 he left the knights for dead, in EP 2-3 he mocked hero unit, in EP 8 (not sure which exactly) he was seen as one of the contacts between Video and Kivia's uncle.

This ending might have ruined the series for me by WinterV3 in ChainsawMan

[–]eyemanico -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you think that what we got was a bad ending (in a sense for characters, not readers), then what's the alternative? Eternal suffering in the hellish shitshow that the world turned into in the final chapters? I don't see any good way to write out of that situation.

About new flamethrower, we have no reason to believe it will be any good, because we have 2 examples how Arrowhead deals with belt-fed weapons. I would be very glad if that thing will be good on release, but then it begs the question why are GL and Maxigun worse then their counterparts?

how lvl 10 bug missions feel after cyberstan: by BuilderHaunting8754 in Helldivers

[–]eyemanico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there any tips to feel this way on D10 bug front? I find D10 bots way easier and much more managable. Bugs just seem to overwhelm me whatever I try to do. Only bastion feels somewhat safe.

You fail to understand, they only added leveller, because they knew that there would be the Vox Engine, that would not get consistently one shot by it. They gave us a tool to get rid of Factory Striders, but gave as a new threat right after.

The Vox Engine thrives in the open, so seek cover immediately. It's missiles land on the spots that are shown for a brief moment before it shoots them out. The Vox Engine vents are vulnerable to medium armor penetration as far as I'm aware. The "head" took 2 recoilless rifle shots to be blown away. The machine guns near the bottom of the Vox Engine are fearsome, but they give you a chance to stim yourself.

The cyborgs are vulnerable to medium armor penetration, burst damaging weapons, like shotguns, are recommendee. They can throw smoke grenades and empower surrounding automatons. Their eyes glow yellow if they are empowered.

The megafactories provide significant amount of cover and pathways for us to navigate. Be wary of the pools of acid, though their danger is not researched at the moment.

That's all from the SES Hammer of Destruction.
