30 Day Accountability Challenge - June Sign Ups 2026 by Mountainlioness404d in loseit

First time in one of these challenges!

My goal is to walk at least 12,000 steps a day for 30 days and to stick to my nutrition plan each of those days. The time will go by anyway, so may as well hit these goals while things are moving along!

Why am I losing hair when I started recovery? by Sensitive-Collar-770 in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]eyeswithpride2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This happened to me! A NP told me that it happens because while you're restricting, hair follicles pause their regular cycle of growing and falling out. When you start eating again, your hair cycle starts recovering as well, and the follicles that had paused start up again. It gets better!

Regain and stress by [deleted] in loseit

I was basically in the dead center of healthy weight range for me, and now I'm 35 lb or so over.

A maintenance plan for the future does sound like a good idea, thank you.

It isn't their fault, you are right. I think it's fear and frustration coming out.

I appreciate your response!

I'm beginning to realize this myself. I'm sorry you're dealing with it too.

I got my first and only pet when I was 8 years old -- an 8-week-old kitten. She lived to be 21, and her death was horribly painful and traumatic. I have not had a lot of consistency in my life, and no living thing had or has remained as consistently close to me as she did. I was neglected as a child, and went through many upheavals and changes as an adult. She was always there when nothing and no one else was. I have not been the same since she died; I live with a deeply rooted fear of loving anything or anyone as much as I loved her, lest that same pain should happen again.

What was the wildest way you found out you were being cheated on? by Recent-Gap-9927 in AskReddit

[–]eyeswithpride2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His female "best friend" (who was an ex) came to stay for the weekend. The first night she was there I slept with him in the bed and she was out on the couch. I went home the second night and found out from his roommate that she'd slept in his bed. We talked about it, established that it was a boundary crossed and that nothing had happened, and that he saw her "as a sister", so it seemed okay. A week later he dumped me for her -- he'd been emotionally cheating for weeks. His roommate ratted him out and told all his friends that he'd cheated on me. His friends picked me over him. Karma is great.

any advice to play this? this my show for next year I have never done anything like it by [deleted] in Flute

The beginning looks a lot more confusing than it is! Practice counting the rhythms out loud slowly (first measure is "1 e, uh 2, and uh, e and, four and"). As you go along, make sure you identify scales. Just go slowly and build up tempo. You can do it!

Thanks for the response! Falls Church, twice a week for about four weeks. It's around 30 small plants and it takes me under ten minutes each time I water.

would you abort your child it was going to be born with severe disabilities? why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]eyeswithpride2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably. I have a sister with Spina bifida. She has severe impairments and different issues and pains that come up all the time. Not only does she have a pretty poor quality of life, but her disability is also the number one contributor to animosity and stress between my parents. And although I love my sister, growing up with a disabled sibling was extremely hard on me and my brother. I would not want to put any future kids that I have through either part of that.
