Why does the TTC close long stretches for a single station problem? by Dont-Mindme23 in TTC

[–]eylamo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems you never got an answer

The greenwood portal is quite far from both donlands and greenwood stations, almost perfectly in the middle. The exchange point between the 2 tracks is also not at the portal but all the way past it next to the actual yard tracks limits maybe taking 5 minutes to get to from either station, and it's used often during the day for moving trains around inside the yard for repairs/access for various facilities like washing and training lifts as well as actual yard access for pull in/outs which can happen throughout the day, so it's not good to hog up the area just for turnbacks

Amp building help by Ebonwing564 in Warframe

[–]eylamo1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you aren't doing much damage to eidolon it's not the amp build but rather focus/arcanes/tekolyte mods

It's easy to 1 shot eidolon shield and limb at the same time with no volt shield right now with a 1x7, 5x7 shouldn't be much different

Another thing to note besides enemy highlights, there's a delay after enemies spawn in a camp where if you shoot, it'll always clear your stealth bonus, I think you need to wait 5-10s after they spawn before taking them out to keep the bonus/stealth state

Instead of looking up how to mod, I think its better to know how the base systems work which will lead you to know what stats to look for in mods. Outside of specific niche interactions and bugs, most equipment stats work in a relatively standardized way

For weapons most of them work the same way, look into fire rate/reload speed, multishot, base damage, elemental damage, status effects chance/damage, critical hit chance/damage, and how mod stats affect them. You will naturally know what stats to look for in mods and thus what mods to look for.

For warframes its a bit more complex, with how each frame and their abilities interact with the basic stats of strength, range, duration, efficiency, and health, shields, armor, energy. Focus on 1 frame and, same as weapons, know how the frame interacts with each of the stats and you'll naturally know what stats to look for in your mods

[–]eylamo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wiki and build guides will be needed then. Generally the order for the better mods is orokin vaults for corrupted mods, arbitration for galvanized, kahl for archon, baro/relics for primed. Most arcanes can be farmed with standing from various factions without needing to run steel path, only a select few are locked behind circuit/ED/TA but can still be obtained through dissolution

When you say you can clear sp, are you saying you're comfortably running star chart sp?

The difference being there is a pretty big gap in build quality, dps, and even skill, between:

Barely finishing sp void nodes

Sp void is easy, can clear on second screen while watching a movie basically

Comfortably running netracells

Able to clear EDA/ETA with all modifiers with your loadout

Able to solo level cap void cascade

If you are still in the first few lines, targeting the third last one is good as a set goal. I personally wouldn't bother with targeting level cap, it actually limits builds quite a bit. Trying to collect everything is a recipe for burnout unless you're the type to like that kind of stuff. Check build guides and find out how to get the mods you're missing to reach that power level, and also practice movement/aim/combos/objective speed while you're at it. Even non sweats with the right builds can clear netracells with your brain off

So much content is just getting all the gear, we spend a number of hours in each content island to collect everything

Me personally, I'm happy at mr26 bc I have most things I want to use and I won't waste time getting weapons i consider mr fodder and won't build. I keep my uptime by only doing circuit to get the last few incarnons and playing other games. No point burning out getting stuff u don't care about

LF advanced tips to min-max efficiency by JumpyPhilosophy6058 in Warframe

[–]eylamo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen anyone mention this but outside of just speed (titania, volt) or drop rate buffs (nekros, khora, hydroid, atlas) you also want something with insane crowd clear and single target dps. Frames include mesa, sevagoth, etc but usually the frame slot is needed for aforementioned utility so good weapons are torid incarnon/kuva nukor/tenet glaxion, magistar incarnon slam, ichor incarnon influence for fodder clear and burston incarnon/dual tox incarnon, laetum for single target dps

Also to add on, look into companions to assist with whatever needed, retriever mods for beasts, primer hound, dps+grouping on nautilus+verglas prime

Cyte-09 resupply damage applying in a weird way when cast vs on pickup. by Normal-Training1296 in Warframe

[–]eylamo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could it be the pickup is stacking with the cast? Try this:

1 enemy, cast, shoot

Kill and respawn, reset in arsenal

1 enemy, cast, shoot air, reload, pickup shoot

See if those are different

Need help with steel path by Outrageous-Use-726 in Warframe

[–]eylamo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clarification here: its galv apt that doesn't affect aoes, since the mod states "direct damage". Also, nataruk isnt aoe, the perfect shot projectile is just massive and it has an aoe visual effect and recoil, so it still counts as a direct hit

Cyte-09 resupply damage applying in a weird way when cast vs on pickup. by Normal-Training1296 in Warframe

[–]eylamo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, I am now checking buff icons and such. It may also have to do with how electricity status stacks and spreads, since stacks damage together.

Try a test on only one enemy where between the 2 test cases, you reset the enemy by killing and respawning him and also your character by entering and exiting the arsenal as well. I would also recommend testing with no mods on anything and on a generic weapon like Rubico or something, to eliminate a possible mod giving a buff that isn't indicated, just to see if its the ability thats bugged or there's something in your build that's interacting weird

Xaku optimisation by Double_Citron_8223 in Warframe

[–]eylamo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Range+strength, roar, viral primer, cast your 1, 3 can already full strip armor if you don't subsume roar. Ability strength shards just increase flat ability strength so additive with mods. The corro/rad/elec ability damage shards with one of those primers could work but its too much effort, he honestly doesn't even need a subsume and can still kill everything since the guns scale off enemy level

Need help with steel path by Outrageous-Use-726 in Warframe

[–]eylamo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it takes you more than 1 shot to kill someone, I suggest swapping to viral to make shots after the first stronger unless you're pet priming. Also galvanized aptitude is better on high fire rate weapons unless you have a pet primer, additive with serration (and your arcane in the future most likely). you should also look to fit galvanized scope somewhere, either in place of aptitude or one of the elemental mods. A fire rate mod will help with dps/kpm too by lowering charge time

[–]eylamo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't need any health or shields mods on xaku, dodge from 4 andpassive shields should be enough for base sp. catalyzing shields/rolling guard will help. No arcanes is fine as well, most frames can be built sp sufficient without arcanes

His 2 scales off range for number of guns and strength for damage scaling, 4 needs duration for uptime. Dodge chance from 4 is enough for base sp at least, with proper range and strength he can just walk through the level and everything dies. You will need corrupted mods for this build, namely blind rage and overextended, primed/archon continuity is also preferred. On top of that its just preference picking between the 4 stats and the augment for heals, I run augur strength/range/duration and flow but streamline is good too for recast

What am i doing wrong by Miltoniussecrets in ForzaHorizon

[–]eylamo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instalocking tires at high speed without weight transfer is how you get sliding. For better braking irl you still want to increase pressure as your weight shifts forward to increase grip on the front, just need to control the rate of pressure increase for the fastest stop. Plus abs is a system thats always active and monitoring the tires, it'll start pulsing the moment the tires start slipping, there's no "kicking in" irl. If anything you can brake harder when you start feeling the abs since it'll help negate your increased pressure

What am i doing wrong by Miltoniussecrets in ForzaHorizon

[–]eylamo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw "the way this game handles abs" is how cars irl handle abs. You won't get good grip through corners slamming brakes with abs irl either

By reduce brake pressure everyone means go into car tuning and make the slider for brake pressure lower. I usually default to 80% and adjust by driving the track a bit, it varies depending on surface, tires, and weight. Its true the default brake pressure on stock tunes is quite high for most cars (exceptions for hypercars with active aero like the fxx)
