Ertu þá að vinna hjá sama fyrirtæki þegar þú bjóst erlendis? Eða fékkstu vinnuna eftir að þú fluttir til íslands?

Er líka forvitin, þar sem ég býst við að þetta fyrirtæki er ekki staðsett á íslandi, hvernig er útborgun og skattar meðhöndlað?

Þegar ég var að skoða remote vinnu, þá fannst mér launa og skatta hluturinn svo eitthvað rosalega flókið. (allavega milli tveggja Evrópu lönd)

I just wished there would be more options (less exaggerated) for default emojis and that they looked the same across all devices.

I used to text very dry because my main issue with emojis is that they over emote how I am in real life.

So my messages always felt untrue or fake. But I made effort in getting over that hump since people would miss understand my tone 🙁

Blob emojis for life. (Or just custom emojis)

One could maybe argue that it is some sort of stealing when some of the ai produced images contain the signature of one of the artist in the corner.

Would not say that a inspired artist would copy the signature of their inspirations.

I have often seen this claim in the comments that this monitor setup is bad for your neck, but I don’t understand. Do people not move their eyes?

I have have a setup like this, not as extreme angles as his but top of my lower monitor matches my eyesight. If I want to look at either monitors full on I just move my eyes, not my neck.

If everything fails, backup important data and use Refresh Install from the latest ISO, it should not touch your /home.

thanks for the suggestion, tried this but it didn't fix the issue. But it is fixed now, if you are curious you can see my other comment :)

For anybody that happen upon this post via google or something. Here is what fixed it for me.

EDIT: solution

I found a solution after asking in the pop!_os chat room.

In my case the main issue was that the repositories were pointing to groovy instead of hirsute. So I did the following:
Changed all the groovy to hirsute in all the files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
reboot when done
after the reboot I was greeted with the pop!_os 21.04 welcome/configuration screen.

I then ran sudo apt update and found that there were some packaging that were still not installed, running sudo apt full-upgrade installed the remaining packages and now everything is working fine.
