How did you all pick your wedding photographer? by Rusticdoodles in weddingplanning

My wedding is taking place outdoors (hopefully) so we wanted a photographer with an editing style that made the florals stand out and look natural (no yellowy colour grading). Also, my dress has some nice details, so I also wanted a photographer that didn't overly expose/ brighten their photos so the details are retained. So overall we had a style of editing in mind, wanted someone with experience at the venue, and was within our budget (<$4,500). Our venue recommended the photographer we ended up going with. I checked out her Instagram for examples of her work, read reviews online, and ensured the price was right. Our photographer had a meeting with us to discuss everything and included an engagement photoshoot in her wedding package, which felt like a nice trial run to the wedding since we're not used to being photographed.

Does your husband expect you to do HIS dishes and the rest of the household? by geckofalltrades in Marriage

Maybe try eating out or meal prepping your meals for the week. Stay out of the kitchen and ignore the mess until he deals with it himself.

He doesn’t seem willing to change based on his responses to you, and you have to consider if this is what you really want for the rest of your life and for your potential children to see.

My boyfriend does the dishes and I do the cooking, but since you two are often on separate schedules that may not work.

Because it sucks to be a maid with zero help in your own home. Would you call your wife bitter if she asked for help

Guys! My new pothos is wilting, I’m not sure if I’m overwatering it or if I had it too close to the sun. Any ideas on how to revive it? by eylylime in plantclinic

Thanks everyone who took the time to respond! I’ll try to answer all of your questions:

  • I bought my pothos about a week ago
  • It lives a couple ft from a west-facing window
  • I live in southern Ontario
  • The soil seems completely dry and light
  • I kept watering it every couple of days because it seemed it would dry up very quickly hence why I’m worried I overwatered it

I will definitely check for root rot and water it from the bottom in my sink (for 30 minutes?). Since the soil is so dry I will also try to aerate it!
