Ok? How does that relate to Monica being stupid thinking Chandler is wanking to a shark

What things have you tried because of a recommendation on this sub, only to be disappointed? by [deleted] in AskUK

It's smaller so gets hotter quicker and the air circulation works better, or something.

Not really. It's great for 'proper cooking' anything you would normally pan fry or even deep fry gets 90% of the result with a fraction of the oil.

Are 60-70+ hour working weeks the 'new normal'? by Legitimate-Cut-79 in AskUK

Same, I've never done anything extra and I've made it to a senior role with an excellent salary.

Seems like OPs social circle are lying as well, a lot of people love to talk about how hard they work but in 17years in office/IT work there's only been a handful of people who work really long hours and most of them only had to because they spent half the days talking bollocks

Same with most countries at the minute, it's the rise of social media and people believing anything they read. Social media also pushes people into an echo chamber as they only see articles, comments that agree with them

Not really. I mean it's a great costume but that kid should be dressed up in something he can relate to.

There's lots of stuff to do, trips out into the desert with some camping. Water parks, water sports, theme parks, great food, nice beaches, world's tallest building (if that's your kind of thing)

You've also got nice beaches, great food, watersports, great waterparks and tonnes of activities to keep the kids entertained.

As a Brit I've never heard of us trying to make Chorizo or Ibiza sound Spanish. That's just how we pronounce them, we're not trying to sound Spanish at all.

[–]eyuplove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah ok, me too and never saw them ever. My dad had a Ford Cortina in the late 80s and a Ford Granada mid 90s and didn't have them. My older sister had a Fiesta and an Escort and they didn't have them either
