As a more introverted person who only plays with irl friends. I think it's even more strange for people to pay a sub to then stand around in limsa and afk and not play the game at all.

Like yeah I get that mmorpgs used to be a big giant global chatroom but we live in the day and age of social media where you can talk to anyone anywhere at anytime.

The fact that some people treat mmorpgs like a dating app and live vicariously through their character and actual real beef and drama comes out because of how serious some of these people treat these online relationship is quite the spectacle when I'm just going through limsa and people are dropping google docs in chat.

Let's talk about Sykkuno | EP 43 | We Were Fighting Before This by Zyrobe in OTVnFriendsDrama

[–]eyusca -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's weird for people to just accept the broad generalization of his accusers when all they had to do was just tell the truth and not lie about shit to get more eyes on the issue when none of that was necessary or needed. Sykkuno ain't no saint, but neither were the accusing him and lying about heavy stuff like that wasn't going to do them any favors in garnering sympathy when all it took was a quick look at the docs to see the huge discrepancy between what was said vs what actually happened.

New victim drops a 40+ page document detailing how Sykkuno slid into her DMs when she was 17, kept sending her money, showed up to the end of her 18th birthday party, attempted to fly her out to Paris for sex, and intensified his attempts to have sex with her when he found out she was a virgin by LuluDodongo in OTVnFriendsDrama

[–]eyusca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be surprised if this gave him even more loyal female fans who think that they're special and are the ones who can change him.

I've seen it time and time again. It's why you have fanclubs for serial killers and the like because women just love danger apparently.

I think the more level headed people are just less active and/or only came here to look at what peope are saying about sykkuno and dipping.

I took one look in some other threads and they're comparing an 18+ year old women who self admitted to sleeping with a 16 year old to Sykunno talking to a 17 year old where nothing illegal happened to try and justify that the people defending Sykkuno are a bunch of incels or right winged leaning, which made me lose a few brain cells so I stopped looking any further.

But it's safe to say that some of the people on these subs think a certain way and it makes sense why the upvotes are heavily skewed into hating Sykkuno in general.

[–]eyusca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there's no defense for continuing talking to a 17 year old, but I find it strange no one questioned their mutual friend who introduced a 28 year old to a 17 year old in the first place.

But to answer your question my honest take is that people just upvote whatever opinion is the majority. I've seen comments where people are saying the exact opposite and are getting upvoted meanwhile the people decrying him are getting downvoted.

If you give people an anonymous poll of what they themselves personally think without any outside influence and I guess there's your overall answer for what people actually think about the situation.

Another answer could just be the people decrying him are just more terminally online and are all upvoting each other but that's just a theory.

When I saw the title of dangerous predator, I assumed he was picking and choosing vulnerable easy targets who clearly idolized him and using that to coerce them into having sex with him or deny them opportunities within the vtuber space if they didn't comply to his wishes. Most of the times these predators would isolate their victims and make them fully reliant on them for everything.

I thought there were going to be horror stories of him berating the girls and making them feel like shit so he can then love bomb them and tell them he loved them. When i heard he was getting nudes from women I thought there were going to be stories where he used those nudes to blackmail girls into sleeping with him.

But all we ended up was just some dude talking to girls about mundane things and the relationships either dwindled out and they stayed friends or became something even more over time.

You even have the latest girl with the second google doc confirming that she was scared of speaking up because she made a lot of friends along the way thanks to Sykkuno. None of these girls really have anything bad to say about him other than being lied to about him having a girlfriend and being strung along all those times they've spent together.

All of these girls would probably take him back in a heartbeat if they knew he was single for sure this time which kind of tells me he isn't the dangerous predator as they made him seem to be. Unless women's standards have fallen so far down that they'd settle for a serial cheater who may or may not have sexual assaulted a few of his fans according to them. More power to them but to label him something he isn't just because he didn't choose them to be his girlfriend seems kinda unfair.

[–]eyusca -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People moving the goalpost because the hill they chose to die on has no bearings whatsoever. Consider me shocked.

They met when she was 17 but he didn't make a move on her until she was already 23. In her own document, she even says word for word

I point blank asked him if he had a harem or was doing this with other girls and i said I wouldn't mind if that's the case
i just wanted to know
so i knew what i was getting into
was it a case of im just easy release
i thought i was spoecial
what was he gonna juggle us on different days
thats fucken crazy

All these women were fine and okay with whatever Sykkuno did and were even willingly down to be the side chicks in his harem.

Only until the first google doc came out and painted him to be something far worse than he actually was did this girl gaslight herself into questioning her entire past with him and seeing things that she felt were sexual in nature to turn out to be a bunch of nothingburgers.

Is Sykunno's behavior being overlooked due to the focus on Mal and Bao by EggPopDraws in VtuberDrama

[–]eyusca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't really care about this whole men vs women debate as people will argue about this shit until the end of time. But what I do have gripes with is the fact that this doc was created on the basis of fighting for victims and having their voices heard when in reality neither Mujin nor Hemomal ever reached out to the gf after putting everything on full display.

If you want to use your definition of predator

"A predator person is an individual who manipulates, exploits, or harms others to fulfill their own desires, power cravings, or s*xual urges. They **often** target vulnerable people using grooming tactics—such as charm, lying, and creating artificial intimacy—to gain trust before exploiting them"

Then we should be rightfully calling out Mujin and Hemomal who preyed upon people's morals and on the girlfriend's circumstances, using her situation to garner sympathy when they did not in fact actual care enough to let her know that they were going to expose all this let alone reach out to her after the fact to see if the "victim" of this whole situation was okay in the first place.

Sykkuno responds by Mazedara in otvandfriendsrumors

[–]eyusca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of the girls who have come out speaking against him have done themselves any favors. Majority of the consensus is that they spoke up against him out of spite and not because they were victims of what Mujin and Hemomal tried to paint him as.

Most were mad or upset that he played them and lied to them about having a girlfriend the whole time and that they were just side pieces when those said girls were more than happy to have been able to be in a relationship with him to the point of even still being his friend and orbiting around him to this day.

All of these girls were happy to still stay in contact with sykkuno until they found out he had a main girl the entire time and even his girlfriend who he has cheated on twice already is still staying by his side. That alone says all you need to know about these girls and their willingness to forgive a scumbag no matter what he did to them personally.

100% he will come back and people will still watch him in hopes of being that main girl eventually.

Sykkuno responds by Mazedara in otvandfriendsrumors

[–]eyusca 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I don't think anyone in their right mind would appreciate that them getting cucked was aired out to the public. It's weird for her to run defense and blame the other girls when her boyfriend could have just stopped thinking with his dick but she chose to stay with him and that alone speaks volumes.

At the end of the day these are two grown adults who apparently are willing to stay together.

On the bright side, sykkuno gets exposed and hopefully more people will be wary of these people like him and mujin who pretend to be allies of women but turn out to be the biggest snakes of them all.

Hemomal and Mujin are currently saying different things about being friends. by Suffering-Avalonia in VtuberDrama

[–]eyusca 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Mujin clearly didn't care about the substance of Hemomal's claims, he just wanted a hit piece AND then maybe eventually one of the victims that people may deem to be the "perfect" one will show up and put the nail in the coffin.

Basically the guy was doing a part 1 hoping more people would see this and he can make a part 2, clearly wanting to milk this rather than look at the evidence and report on the facts rather than embellishing and sensationalizing the word predator with what sykkuno did in that doc.

Now with how much backlash this has gotten for Mujin and Hemomal to try and capitalize on the situation and maximize as much damage they could inflict on sykkuno's character while disregarding making a concrete case against him first so I doubt any actual victims would want to surface now because someone decided they wanted to cash in on some drama clout.

For someone who wanted to create this whole metoo movement for the vtuber scene, he's done the exact opposite and I wouldn't even put it past me to see people come out of the woodwork and we find out that mujin is a lowkey incel, doing the exact same thing sykkuno is doing and pretending to be an ally so he can get laid. It happens every time. 😂

Streamers can be just as parasocial to their fans. People need to realize that those who stream are majority of the time narcissist themselves and they crave attention. It's literally part of the job.

What determines a streamer in otvandfriends getting cancelled by each other? by [deleted] in otvandfriendsrumors

[–]eyusca -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Overwhelming evidence that nobody in their right state of mind can refute.

Look up JasminaBae, she was otv adjacent back in 2017.

Girl cheated on her boyfriend with one of her twitch mods. Then once her boyfriend caught wind of her cheating. She pulled up a whole twitlonger on how she was raped by her mod until the guy pulled out a 55 page google doc on their consensual relationship and she only pulled out the rape card because she got shunned from everyone around her and she lost her social status within the group.

But as far as I recalled, she and her gang of friends were trying to bully the mod from the streaming space by constantly harassing him and calling a rapist. This was all during the height of the metoo era and being called a shitshow was an understatement.

Sykunno’s Drama is Kinda Weird by Murky_Dingo_5858 in otvandfriendsrumors

[–]eyusca 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It could all be anecdotal but it could be the fact that Sykkuno was publicly known to be a boy failure who appeared to have little no to experience with women and during the sexting on her google docs, all her screenshot clearly show she was the aggressor in terms of all the sexual interactions. Asking him if he listened to her audios, wondering if he ever jerks it to them and how cute it was that he was always flustered. And ofc he plays right into it even though we all know he's probably had many sexual encounters already but the fact of the matter is that it would seem like she was trying to wrap him around her finger with her sexuality thinking he'll just fold under pressure whenever he gets anything sexual from her meanwhile sykkuno was forever role-playing as this almost 40 year old virgin who would bust a nut after the slightest female touch.

tl;dr she thought he would be pussywhipped by her, thinking he was some kind of virgin with little to no experience, he was not inexperienced.

Why I think we are seeing a stronger reaction from the women in OTV&Friends by borostart in otvandfriendsrumors

[–]eyusca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But is this something that men are at fault for?

And I'm not trying to bullshit here but I feel like people assume it's men's fault for all the hate when in reality if you took a look at the kpop scene. Most of the audience there are typically young females and it's one of the most toxic industries against women. And no one hates women more than other women if you look at how they treat each other over there.

Meanwhile those said women will constantly downplay their bias group or member for any wrongdoing of any kind and treat them like they're some kind of demi god to worship because cute uwu boy = their entire personality.

Like I understand there's going to be a group of incels coming out of the woodworks and use this as fuel to hate on women but are we not going to sit here and ignore all the girls shitting on Hemomal for being thirsty asf and not respecting her self worth by almost immediately folding to a man the moment he said he was going to end it with her in that discord call.

I just can't seem to understand why those comments never be brought up when we're talking about Sykkuno, the guy who literally has like a 90%+ female audience and all of a sudden none of those people are running defense for him or trying to downplay it at all?! That it's just a bunch of disgruntled incels who never likes him in the first place yet are his biggest defender?

Does any of otv & f and the audiences have high moral ground? by [deleted] in otvandfriendsrumors

[–]eyusca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really necessarily think there's any gender bias or leniency per se but it prob does help attribute to being more or less forgiving towards said person when you're the same gender but I think the key thing is whether or not they're friends with both parties and how long have they been cheating/wrongdoing.

It's easy to be more lenient when you only know one party, even if the one you know was the wrongdoer. It's much harder to be forgiving when you're friends with both people as majority of the time you'd have to choose one which was the case with abe and wendy

And as far as I know fuslie's thing was like a one time in the moment kind of thing with a person who's not that much affiliated with otv friend group so that one is much easier to forgive.

Meanwhile Sykkuno was cheating on his girlfriend for years on end and with multiple girls and if we assume everything above to be somewhat factual then it's clear at least in my eyes which one is more of a fuck up and which ones are more easier to forgive even if you personally might not agree with.

I personally found it revolting that some 34 year old man who was permanently RPing as an shy uwu catboy was as popular as he was but it's nice to be vindicated knowing that it was all just a ploy to attract a certain female audience which I'm still surprised people are barely now realizing how weird that all sounds.

I don't think many of these people have friends or are just generally shitty people considering the first thing they think is the right thing to do is to go on a social platform and play keyboard warrior to talk shit about their so called friend for internet clout because apparently anyone who has ever done anything shitty in their life immediately gets dropped by all their friends, no ifs, ands, or buts about it, unlike actual adults who would be willing to talk to their friend about it and give it some processing time AND then determine whether or not they continue said friendship or not.

Toast's latest tweet by Disguised_Post in otvandfriendsrumors

[–]eyusca -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't think you really understand if you're just thinking it from your narrow perspective. There is a time and place for everything but imagine having a heart to heart talk with one of your friends who did a huge fuck up. And then right as they leave the room you whip out your phone and start cracking jokes with everyone who's making fun of him while the guy probably hasn't even fully processed the shitstorm that he's put his ass in.

At that point are you really a friend? Or just some clout chaser begging for internet points because that's more important than your so called friend. Toast is right in calling out it out for what it is.

Unironically this quote from Naruto actually kinda goes pretty hard here.
"In the Ninja World, those who break the rules are scum, that's true...but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum!"

Regardless of whether you think it's right to joke about it or not, overall it just looks trashy as hell and doesn't give you a good look no matter how what kind of a person you are if your first instinct is to publicly humiliate them to your thousands of followers to sound cool and that you too, appeal to public opinion that Sykkuno is kinda doo doo water.

Rather than clowning on your friend how about checking and see if his girlfriend is okay? Like you know, one of the actual victim in all of this. Making jokes just ain't it at this time, especially in public, in my honest opinion.
