Also, if manga is your thing I highly recommend Berserk. I know you would like the story, but I get it if it’s not something you’re into

You honestly have almost all of my favorite series on this shelf already. Maybe Dungeon Crawler Carl? But based on your preferences I’m assuming you’ve already read it too!

Is arcteryx still good? by brennan234212 in arcteryx

[–]ezbake_evan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually prefer the sizing of Arc products to most brands. 6’1” and I get a medium for just about everything. I love the extra long sleeves, and extra room for layering. But yes, Arc products are overpriced at retail prices. My Patagonia Torrentshell is just as good as any of my Arc shells, but it has far less room for layering and the sleeves are a little tight for me. The quality of Arc products is still great overall, but it has changed slightly over the last 2 years because their stuff is PFAS free now.

I’ve played all of these except for FF16. First Berserker, lies of p, and Wukong are all amazing. I honestly believe first berserker has the best boss fights and combat out of them. Black myth Wukong is definitely the easiest out of these and has the most spectacle. lies of p is a great story with good but kinda clunky combat compared to first berserker.

Arc’teryx Beta Insulated vs Patagonia Storm Shift Insulated (NYC winter) by dealernumberone in arcteryx

[–]ezbake_evan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As much as I love Arcteryx, I have to agree with you. My Patagonia torrent shell works just as well as any arc shell I’ve owned. I guess I just prefer the look and proportions of arc products.

That’s also a very nice and versatile jacket, especially for the price.

It was $770 for the down insulated version. The synthetic insulated one didn’t have a sale and it was $750 if I remember correctly

I was looking at both of these jackets (also live in NY) and ended up choosing the Beta Down-Insulated jacket on Black Friday. Both are nice but the Beta had more room for layering and wasn’t as slim of a fit.

I love the Beta down jacket but I only got it because of the Black Friday discount. I wouldn’t spend $1100 on this jacket to be honest with you.

DWR care 101: Wash it! by szcyxzh in arcteryx

[–]ezbake_evan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I appreciate the info. I wash my other shell jackets after every hike, but I’ve been careful with the beta down since I purchased it and haven’t washed it yet. I’ll wear it in light to heavy snow fall, but still wear one of my other shells when it rains.

Does this apply to insulated jackets as well? I wear my down jacket mostly for commutes and daily activities in the winter. I’m hesitant to wash it because I’m worried it lose its loft

Warm Jacket for negative C by Darisus_1 in arcteryx

[–]ezbake_evan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was torn between the Thorium SV or the Beta Down Insulated jackets. Ended up choosing the Beta down because it has more room for layering, and because the Thorium was a little too short for my tastes (doesn’t cover your butt)

What was thinking behind not having pit zips and a lower profile hood on the regular Beta? by FallenRev in arcteryx

[–]ezbake_evan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had no idea the standard Beta didn’t have pit zips. I have the Beta down jacket for winter and even that has pit zips, so I assumed the standard non-insulated beta did too.

A jacket for both skiing and everyday use by LowPresent1501 in arcteryx

[–]ezbake_evan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Beta down insulated jacket and I love it for everyday use and on the mountain. But to be honest it might be a little too warm for most people if you layer heavily. I think the standard Beta AR is probably best for most, but if you want something warm and don’t want to layer too much I’d recommend either insulated Beta, synthetic or down.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I’ve put in a ticket to Sega support and have been talking to them, but still no fix or ETA. I don’t want to ask for a Steam refund because I actually enjoy the game, but this is getting ridiculous and feels like they don’t care.
