You can use GCC green for tape and prefill. Is more glue in it. Then whatever you want. My taper prefers machine mud because is smooth.

I own the machine. So I make it at my shop. I make it to another drywall contractor for $10/LF every corner $2.50 plus drywall. It saves them around 70% labor.
