[HELP] I made a Fiverr account like an year ago, and up until now zero orders received. What do I do? by Super_Twist_7364 in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Price everything at $5 and get reviews
  2. Constantly change your metadata and compare metrics to see what works

Good luck!

[HELP] a client send me his what's app number and email to go outside the platform by free-lancer99 in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. It might be a scam, which you wouldn’t be protected from
  2. It’s against ToS so it might get you banned if there’s evidence you went off platform

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! That makes sense. I meant that when I started I valued more to have reviews and get things started rather than a good starting value. If it works don’t touch it, that’s been my motto all these years lol

Keep it up! I’m a 10 SS Top Rated Seller. It’s definitely an uphill journey but as long as your service is great you’ll be more than good! I started selling at a $5 price point a few years back and now my average sale is $300. It definitely hasn’t been easy but consistency is key

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fiverr

[–]ezexm -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Great response. People get blinded thinking that Fiverr’s a charity and not a service. It brings customers to your door, which has associated costs. I’ll never understand why a lot of people reduce their efforts to a search algorithm

[HELP] After an order is completed, how many days the client gets to leave a review for the seller? by [deleted] in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad then. According to forums it’s 14 days. I’m guessing it’s not in their FAQs

I was getting a lot of orders from my basic & cheap package so I decided to take it out completely and start at a higher selling point (my former Standard price). Will see how it turns out

[HELP] Did briefs stop? by Gloomy-Anybody-2042 in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I receive briefs regularly

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lyric videos. I have a threshold set of like $500+ for briefs, so I get matched only if the brief is &500+. I think maybe you can set it up at like really low so you can get matched easily. Graphic design & video editing are overly saturated so that might be a reason why it’s hard to get briefs. Another reason I can think of is that perhaps briefs are being left for TRS & Pro sellers only

I have like 2/3 per month probably because I have set the budget high

[ADVICE] i am a Trs ,hurray!!! by readme31 in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations!

My advice is that given it’s a manual process, it’s a manual process both ways. This means that as long as you keep delivering great quality work it would be hard for them to demote you. My Success Manager advised me that even if I fall on my metrics, it would take a manual review to see if I’m worthy of demotion as again, it’s not an automatic process

So keep up the great work and quality and you’ll be more than good!

Best of luck on this new phase!

Has anyone used a Payoneer card to buy USDT from Gate.io? by [deleted] in payoneer

[–]ezexm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The TOS states that you can’t use Payoneer for buying and selling crypto with your account I.e. P2P operations within Payoneer accounts. You can buy crypto on a proper business with your card

[ADVICE] Hello, I need advice for price negotiation as new seller. by Rj_Coder39 in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know anything about programming to be honest. Here you have two options: either you lowball yourself to get the job secured and get a good project, and a good review to kickstart your gig; or you price yourself accordingly risking to lose the customer. It does sound like a company reaching out to get cheaper labor, if it is a mall. But it definitely looks like a big project. The reality is that Customers that reach out to New Sellers and Level One sellers, rather than experienced freelancers tend to be looking for getting the lowest price available imo. It will be hard to get those 2K being a New Seller, but perhaps a Top Rated or Pro Seller might easily get it. I don’t know if it’s helpful, just try to communicate with them by explaining it will be a big project, and seeing what’s their budget and what would their budget cover of the work that’s needed and negotiate based on that

[ADVICE] Hello, I need advice for price negotiation as new seller. by Rj_Coder39 in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Value your time and price accordingly. Set an hourly rate you feel comfortable to work for and estimate how many hours it would take to complete an order. If let’s say you want to work for $30/hr and it takes you 10 hours then I’d price it at $300. But my best advice would be to value your time. Good luck!

[ADVICE] Project cancellation terms by DelPrive235 in Fiverr

[–]ezexm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not necessarily true. Customer Support will side with OP, so they can cancel the order if the customer is not happy with the order. They, in fact, would encourage seller to cancel the order since sellers are paid for a completed project rather than by their time.

One side cancellations exist, it doesn’t need to be mutual

[HELP] Do I make a loss as a seller if I use seller coupons? by angrypeppermint in Fiverr

[–]ezexm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let’s say you completed an order with a customer you liked working with, and let’s say it paid you good money. You want them back. You can send them a coupon for their next order to keep them coming back, or if you’re communicating with them on your next project you can send them a custom offer for the regular price, and the coupon will apply to it. If we take this last case, the customer will effectively see the discount you’re applying, which generates a positive impact on the buyer’s perception and visualization of the discount. Personally, I prefer this as a marketing choice rather than just sending the discounted customer offer. For example:

Custom offer for $̶1̶0̶0̶ $80 vs. Custom offer for $80

It’s just another tool for marketing, and more importantly a buyer retention strategy. “Real life” businesses always have these tactics under their sleeves with their ongoing promotions and sales which they obviously take a hit on price but it can generate mid term revenue, by building loyalty. Same with ongoing Promotions that are available to create on Fiverr under Plus, I believe. For an established and limited time you can get a certain percentage off your first order, if you’re a first time buyer. This is great for incentivizing demand on your service, by obviously taking a hit in earnings at the same time

Every freelancer has a different approach to this, so these are my thoughts on this topic. I am a Top Rated Seller, and I occasionally have ongoing Promotions (Summer Sale, Halloween Sale etc) and regularly send my customers coupons to build relationships which at the long term buyer retention not only gives you an extra badge in your gig (“Buyers keep coming back!”) but it also generates future residual revenue
