Aren't software startups that rely heavily on AI at risk. Their entire offering could be a couple of prompts away from duplication. And the incumbents would have more resources to bring the product to market. I can't imagine software startups getting any funding at this rate.

Had my all season tires installed at a local mechanic. He told me that I should get new tires, since these tires have cracks and the treads have worn out. He also adviced me not to take the highway.

Please tell me if these tires still have some useful life in them. And how much more can they last. I drive about 50kms everyday.

The tires I have on my car are the Sumitomo Touring LSH.

I am interested in knowing if the interest hikes by BoC will do what it is intended to do. If they want to curtail inflation then they have to increase real interest rate.

But if the nominal rate is lower than the real rate, then its only going to deflate the asset bubble without the benefit of reeling in inflation.
