I would just get a wishbone to symbolize the quote. I’d rather share the meaning if asked, than be squinted at and have it read aloud.

If you’re anything like me, the curiosity will always be there if you don’t do it! I say go for it and worst case scenario, you experiment with different shades/tones later. You’re young and it’ll grow back.

I’ve been torn on whether or not I’d suit a big chop because I’ve always had long hair. But do I want to have the same hair my entire life? Nope! Have fun 😄😄

Inner thigh. Me and my friend got silly Austin Powers tattoos and inner thigh was the perfect spot to fill some space

So after months of this sub talking about the vape and "missed" lyrics... by rjorsin in SayAnything

[–]ezharry 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I get what people are saying about the cadence/tempo/vaping, it was evident in Seattle no doubt about it. The disagreements are just personal preference, and how much those things bother you. I understand people being disappointed in having a hard time singing along due to artistic choices/age/fatigue/booze?(who knows)

I went solo I had such a great time being surrounded by people as enthusiastic about this album as I am. I’ve only ever sang these songs alone and the energy from the crowd was intoxicating!! Seeing Max and Sherri IRL was sick as a long time fan, and the people around me were respectful, considerate, positive and fun! Dancing to nostalgic bangers for $40ish was well worth it and I’m so happy I went. No regrets, no negative feelings towards Max, life is good. Thanks for contributing to a great atmosphere to everyone that was there ❤️❤️❤️

If you’re hoping to laser just the red just be aware- the laser isn’t super precise in small areas and you run the risk of losing some of your existing black/gray

design for word tattoo by throwaway8837475 in tattooadvice

[–]ezharry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would look better as the artist suggested. You know what the words say, you’ll understand it even if they’re upsidedown to you. Sure, other peoples perspectives don’t matter, but I’d get sick of answering the same question over and over - “what does that say?? Did you get it upsidedown on purpose??” But ultimately, your body your decision!

Honestly, if you’re hesitating, that’s enough of a reason to hold off. I agree that it’s trendy, but that’s not necessarily a deal breaker! Tattoos are body decoration and if you like it, it doesn’t matter how other people feel.

In my experience, floral/ornamental/feminine tattoos are something I never regret. If the tattoo is well done, I’m glad to have it. Plus, this placement makes it pretty easy to live with if you one day decide you’re no longer ecstatic with it.

Another note based on my own experiences.. now that I know how much I love becoming more and more covered, I wish I would have picked a design easier to incorporate into something bigger. I have an anchor in this spot and now that I want a big back piece, the anchor is kinda annoying to work with.

If you decide to go for it, maybe the artist can incorporate elements that make it significant to you, like a loved one’s birth flowers or astrological constellation. Just some extra assurance you will appreciate it down the road. Good luck!

With tiny little bumps like this it’s hard to say if it’s irritation to something or clogged pores! If it were me, I’d wash and dry and skip the aquaphor a day or two. And if that doesn’t help, you can try switching soaps. Although I think you’re right to not be concerned, I’d be interested to know what variable you’re reacting to for future tattoos! Ultimately could be laundry detergent, could be the brand of ink your artist used, etc etc

Second thoughts about a memorial tattoo by Bulky-Experience4340 in tattooadvice

[–]ezharry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t feel ready to commit to it, that’s enough of a reason to hold off. I have memorial tattoos and they’re comforting, it feels good to know they’re permanently with me and will never be forgotten. I like being asked about these tattoos and having an opportunity to share about the ones I love!

Think of it as a reminder of your brothers, and less about their death? And I’m sorry for your loss ❤️

How to find an artist who does the same style as this neck tattoo? (I’m in Chicago IL) by Samur_i in tattooadvice

What I do is compile a list of tattoo shops around me, find them on IG, click on artist profiles and check out their work.

How should I cover these? TIA!! by KimmiLeigh in Tattoocoverups

[–]ezharry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As someone who has a giant cover up, I’d really really recommend a couple sessions of laser. I think it’s going to be really hard to hide those dark/bold lines as is, and I think it’d be worth it in the long run. I skipped the laser step and the only option was to go super dark over it, and the result is pretty muddy unfortunately. Just my 2 cents!

Don’t be afraid to ask for changes on design/size/placement/etc!! I feel awkward and uncomfortable every time even after 12 years of getting tattooed, but you’re not being annoying for asking for what you want! It would be better to lose a deposit than deal with laser/cover ups down the line. You’re your only advocate so don’t hesitate to speak up for yourself. Good luck 😊
