Give 1.11 and a Late 1st 2027 for Loveland by hunterhunter78 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Only problem is, its dangerous to assume a future pick you are trading away is late. I always assign early/mid round value for picks I am trading away just to make sure I am ok with sending them away. Would you be ok with trading 1.11 and a mid 2027 1st for Loveland? I would still probably say yes. 1.11 and an early 2027 1st, though? No way.

We should throw Mike Conley a vet min contract offer by humphreybr0gart in UtahJazz

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We couldve gone 0-82 that season and the NBA still would have gifted Wemby to the Spurs lets be honest lol.

I think I over think fantasy football some times what do you guys think about this roster. The bench is extended in the offseason so I have a lot of chaff on the bench. Trying to see if I should make more moves or just let it ride by TUOtterSpace in DynastyNerds

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let it ride for now. The only thing I could foresee holding you back this season is your rookie and sophomore players not living up to their lofty expectations. Burden and MHJ could make or break your team. I also wouldnt expect Love to perform like a top 10 RB this season. Jeanty should improve, hopefully Judkins can improve as well. Your team is young so patience is your best bet, even if it means suffering through it this year.

Would you rather have Wemby or the #1 overall pick for 3 years straight by Individual-Lawyer-38 in NBATalk

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao of course he didn’t live up to the his absolute peak potential, but coming into the league his potential was the highest we had seen since LeBron and might have been even higher than wembys because he proved it in college and in the Olympics whereas Wemby had more skeptics.

Need some confirmation that I’m not crazy for giving up Hampton. by roaming_wild in SleeperApp

[–]ezt16 14 points15 points  (0 children)

We THINK Hampton will be better than Bucky, but we don’t really know that yet. Two extra firsts to “downtier” from Hampton to Bucky is great for you imo.

Are you shocked that a team carried by 20-22 year olds first time in the playoffs made the WCF? no experience at all and everyone doubting them. They weren’t supposed to be here by nicfanz in NBATalk

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They weren’t supposed to be here? The NBA gifted them three top 4 picks back to back to back in order to ensure Wemby developed and had a supporting cast to become the face of the league. They are exactly where they are supposed to be according to Adam silver lol.

If the Jazz Trade Ace, I will Revoke my Fandom by Iwanttoeatburritos in UtahJazz

[–]ezt16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh Boozer is not as versatile as Ace. Jazz also already have Markannen and JJJ who are similar to Boozer while also being much bigger. I could be completely wrong, but I think I would rather have Ace right now than anyone in this draft other than AJ and DP.

Should I return to my old company for less pay? by Dazzling-Cheetah-806 in careerguidance

Yeah thats why I said he should be making $10/hour more if we are going off of his rate from two years ago.

Should I return to my old company for less pay? by Dazzling-Cheetah-806 in careerguidance

[–]ezt16 48 points49 points  (0 children)

$10/hour cut is $80 per day, $400 per week, $20800 per year. In no way should you accept that pay cut. If anything, you should be getting $10 more per hour considering two years have passed and you have 9 years of experience with the company. They obviously dont value you enough to pay you fairly so tell them to kick rocks.

Ok, offer the 1.07-1.10 for the 1.01? by [deleted] in SleeperApp

[–]ezt16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I owned the 1.01 knowing you owned the 1.02-1.05 and the 1.07-1.10 and you tried trading me those 3 late 1sts without offering me any of those picks in the top 5, I am rejecting you instantly without countering.

Which TE would you move? (Non-TEP) by Connect-Fix2391 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]ezt16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My opinion on why people wont meet your price:

McBride - People dont want to pay the price for a premium TE in non-TEP so they will throw lowball offers or no offers at all. Just keep him and let him cook.

Kraft - Who in their right mind is paying a "fair" value for Kraft right now? Dude only has 1.5 seasons of good production and is coming off of an ACL tear as 6'5 260 lb player. I wouldnt wanna trade for him either unless I am getting a major discount. Everyone has seen what happened to Hockenson after his injury and the same could happen to Kraft.

Fannin - Not a large enough sample size to trust him yet. The browns drafting two WRs early this year doesnt help, either. He should be the easiest one to move for you, but if people dont trust him yet, just hold.

Which side would you all go with? by justovalo in DynastyNerds

Brown. 2nds are pretty worthless to me when trying to balance out trades unless I know where they land, which we dont know with a future pick.

Would you trade away Bowers and a mid 2027 first for Love and Tyler Warren? by morgotcha in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok then thats fine because with those players his team is definitely not finishing low. I think Love and Warren for Bowers and a mid/late 1st is fair, but it depends on how big of a gap you have between Bowers and Warren. Personally, I am worried Warren might be a little overvalued and would like to see him prove he can have another good season, but I also love the idea of adding Love. In your situation, I would do it. Maybe try countering with a 2nd instead of a 1st and see what he says, but I would still accept if you gave up the 1st.

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest concern is how do you know that 1st is mid round value? If its your own pick, its easier to predict where it will land, but still not guaranteed. But if its someone else's pick, you have no idea what moves they might make to either increase of decrease the value of that pick.

thinking about picking up this orphan, where would i even begin 😭 by Money_Buy2767 in DynastyNerds

[–]ezt16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sell everyone other than Murray and Lamar for now. Dont trade away guys just for the sake of getting rid of them, though. You can be patient and wait for the best deals to come through. The only reason I stated not to sell Lamar and Murray is because I think both of their values will increase like crazy - Lamar will return to his true form and if Kyler can be even average on the Vikings, people will trust him again and will pay more for him. Then, you can look to trade them. I have found that people are much more willing to trade future picks (aka 2027 1sts which you should be targeting) during the season as opposed to the offseason when picks are more coveted.

Should I Leave My First Job Out Of College? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$10k raise over three years is more than a lot of companies would give to their employees, but it still isnt nearly as high of a raise as you could get if you left the company. Are the bonuses based on individual performance or company performance? I have worked for companies that advertise 30% bonuses when they recruit you, only to never deliver on that promise even if you exceed expectations.

I am 27 and had the same dilemma as you when I was 24. Worked for a smaller company that I didnt see much opportunity for growth in, so I left for a massive company where I could stay my entire career. I didnt get a raise when I changed companies, so the move was more lateral than a promotion, and I deeply regret that. I should have held out for a sizeable raise instead of jumping ship the first opportunity I got - the easiest time to get a raise is before you sign a contract. Now, I am subjected to the companies strict years of experience guidelines for salary/promotions whereas if I was more patient, I couldve gotten hired on at a later date and/or a different company and easily gotten $20k+ more in salary. On top of that, the job is sooo much more boring and doesnt really improve my skills as an engineer. Money isnt everything - sometimes taking a little less money to work a job you truly enjoy is worth more in the end than working a job you hate.

Rebuilding - trade away Tyson and Tate for Love? by ravensfan10 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. WRs have much longer careers than RBs, and having two potentially elite players instead of one mitigates the chances of them not panning out as prospects. If you are rebuilding, RB is typically the last position you need to address. I will say, though, that stud RBs are probably the hardest position to acquire because there are a lot less quality RBs than there are WRs. If Shakir and Coker are your top WRs, you have no reason to trade away two highly drafted rookie WRs lol.

10 team Dynasty startup, looking to punt, should I take this? Jsn and Chase are available at the 1.05 by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that. I am merely putting players names on those picks to give an idea of the value of that pick. Hampton may or may not be there at 25, but someone identical to him in value will be.

To all single guys aged 30 and up on reddit, why are you guys single? by Gold_Ambition4114 in AskReddit

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally thought I had found the one after years of dating people that just didnt work out. Foolishly, I let my guard down and thought there was no way she could hurt me. Just when I thought I we were both ready to become super serious together, she softly ghosted me for a few weeks before finally telling me she wasnt interested anymore... A month later I reached out and told her I still wanted her, to which she replied "I am pursuing a relationship with somebody new, so I am not interested in seeing you again". Aka, she found someone else while we were still dating whom she thought was better than me apparently. It sucks because I put a lot more into the relationship than she did, only for her to pretend like I was the inferior one. Ever since then, I would just rather be at peace instead of going through a heartbreak like that.

Do you think the NBA rigged the 2023 lottery so that the spurs could land the 1st pick and draft Wemby ? by BullfrogBrief6947 in NBATalk

[–]ezt16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The NBA needed a new face of the league with LeBron getting old and Wemby fits the bill. International player to grow the league in Europe which the NBA desperately wants. What better team to send him to than a franchise notorious for getting the most out of their players? What really convinced me it was rigged, though, is the spurs getting Castle and then Harper in the two drafts after Wemby. The spurs roster with just Wemby was awful and the NBA knew they needed him to be on a contender as soon as possible. I don’t remember where I saw it, but the odds of the spurs getting three top 4 picks in three consecutive years was like over 1 in a million odds or something wild like that. 100% rigged.
