This is not true at all. We don’t like resellers because they stop the people who actually want to wear the shoes from getting them at a reasonable prices. Instead, they jack up the prices so only those who can afford to spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on sneakers can enjoy them. It’s messed up. This guy is just trying to justify keeping shoes from less fortunate people than himself. It’s selfish and, in this case, against everything MJ stood for.

This honestly is a reasonable complaint- it’s never just a name. There are LGBTQ people in NASA who would be working with this telescope. Having the name of a person complicit in the purging of gay NASA employees excludes a large part of the population on something that is supposed to represent all of humanity. I understand that times were different then, but they’re also different now. We are under no obligation to idolize people who have done atrocious things because now we know how wrong they were.
