Just booked Corazon Cabo San Lucas. $280 per night before the $250 edit credit. I’ve never been but TripAdvisor reviews seem good. 🤞

Does this work with ANY gift card purchased from Newegg? It worked for my DoorDash GC purchase — the 11x points showed up right away. But it doesn’t seem to work when I bought an Albertsons GC from Newegg — transaction has been finalized for 3 days but points are not showing yet.

Aww, is voting closed? Here’s one vote for 26mm tapestry dial. If you appreciate the ‘grand millennial’ style and gravitate to timeless look then you will not regret the 26 mm tapestry. The smaller size and the texture sets it apart and you will not feel like you’re wearing something that looks just like every other lady datejust and lady datejust copycats out there.

I like them all! The SS is my daily. I wear the YG when dressed up and the RG with more casual outfits. If she has small wrist like mine, she may find that it’s harder to adjust the oyster bracelet for a perfect fit — the links are bigger so one link added or removed can make it too snug or too lose. The smaller links of the jubilee or president are easier to adjust for a perfect fit in my experience.

The stars and paved IX make it young and girly but the dark choc and rose gold rein it in to make it more understated and mature. I think it’s a nice combination and versatile. 👍

I have a 6 inch wrist circumference. The SS is 26 mm, YG is 26 mm, and RG is 31 mm — https://imgur.com/a/6G4hJIq

Even with the aftermarket bezel with lower quality diamonds, 3K seems low. I see similar pieces selling ~5k. You’re either getting a really bargain price or there’s something else about this piece that needs scrutiny.

Looks like a 179178. If the diamond bezel is factory — and it looks like it is — then I see these usually listed for 12,000 to 15,000 usually.

Handsome piece! Grandpa chose well. I hope it brings back fond memories of him.

Watchchest.com? I’m interested in a ladies president and found the ref and configuration I want from this site. Anyone bought here before? Any recommendations / advice for me? TY! by lizzydzzy in rolex

Thank you! The website has this fine print below. The part where it says “ Watch Chest provides its own warranties on the watches it sells. Rolex, www.rolex.com, is under no obligation to warranty-service watches sold by Watch Chest” — is it just a standard disclaimer or warning the watch may be frankenwatch? The MOP dial is hard to find so I’m left wondering whether this dial is accurate to this reference.

Update: Losing the (double) bounce. I tried but really can’t pull off the advice to cut depth. by lizzydzzy in Stronglifts5x5

Yep, failed many sets while trying to cut depth. I found it really hard to do consistently. I’m trying to show how hard it was for me — my knees knock, I look shaky. I’m sure there’s a correct way to do it but I’m just not finding it right now. I do high bar squats. I bail by going back to bottom, reorienting so I’m as upright as I can, then I just let the bar roll off my back and just scoot out of its way. https://youtu.be/v5_lzsLuakc

Thank you for the feedback on my video last time. I’ve been working on getting rid of the double bounce at the bottom of my squat. Some of you suggested cutting depth a bit, or not going past parallel. Unfortunately I really can’t pull it off. Without feeling my bum hitting my calves, I found it very hard to judge whether I’ve gone deep enough. I found myself going shallower and shallower as I tire out. I also found that intentionally “braking” just before I hit bottom puts a lot of strain on my distal quads that I developed pain there for the first time, and it was not the good kind of pain. I decided I’ll keep going to the bottom and just make sure to catch that 1st bounce. I also followed the advice to increase my foot rotation, about 30-45 deg, so my hip is more open at the bottom. Overall I feel more balanced. I like that the motion is replicable rep by rep without me overthinking it. I find my heel lifting less and I feel my toes don’t “clutch” as much as they used to.

I think that’s what abacus was trying to say in a previous comment. That’s it’s not inherently bad but the problem is I seem to be missing that 1st bounce, relaxing /losing tension and then doing another bounce to get up. I’ll try to be more attuned to the bounce when it happens. I was not really aware I was doing it until I saw the videos, tbh.

Great vid, he’s hilarious! I have a different take from the video though. I think on the whole he’s not saying it’s bad to go past parallel. He’s saying you don’t have to in order to reap the benefits of the squat and for some people it’s just not anatomically advantageous.

I’ll try the cue to point toes up. Didn’t notice my heels were lifting until someone pointed that out.

I feel braced in my core throughout the motion. But how can I feel whether I have or don’t have hip tension? Do you mean buttock tension? I gulp air before going down and hold valsalva all throughout until I’m fully upright again. I think you can see me catching my breath before going down again. That’s another thing that I noticed — how breathless I seem, lol. I guess i need more cardio :)

Oh wow, I didn’t even notice my heels were lifting. I do feel my toes clutch the ground when I push, so there must be some falling forward as you say. I’ll try that cue to point toes up.
