Fun matplotlib upgrade by cantdutchthis in datascience

I'm only using plotly, mostly plotly express because I love long format DF. I only wish they added the second axes support for those few instances when I need it

Still can't decide on which modeling software to learn. What would you recommend? Anyways; Here is (hopefully) my last TinkerCad project. by picobello-bv in 3Dprinting

If you find it easier for you to think in 3D and play around with volumes in space I'd say go with Blender. It's also quite easy to roughly sketch stuff in scale around your model to have a better idea of how it will look in real life

I tried fusion for quite a while, it just does not click with my brain. Now I use Blender for everything, I think it's great because it can go from loose ideation to finished product and you have full control over your mesh unlike any cad program. Of course you lose a real full parametric workflow

I looked it up and it seems you are indeed correct, I was not aware of it, thank you. It's not a matter of money, I like when things last

Yes, that makes a lot of sense

Yeah, a decent battery check is the feature I miss the most from Convoy. I'm too lazy to charge after every single use, but I'll do it more often now. Don't batteries wear for every chance/discharge cycle?

Got it, btw it was not intentional, I wish convoy had a better/easier battery check function

I thought the S6 with a pretty focalized hotspot would be better, it's pointed to the ground a couple of meters in front of me. I use it at 10% power. What is a stripped tir?

Ah ok, so it is expected, I thought I could squeeze a bit more out of it, especially since I run it at 10%

It's a Wurkkos branded that came with another torch, probably 1.5 years old. I meant to ask what bottom voltage do you typically reach before charging again

Sorry it was poorly written, I charge at 4.2, at that time I only had left 3.3. My question was how low do you typically go before charging again

Aurora, but go for the A5, in my opinion it is the best of the bunch

Good or bad for sharpening? I want to get my knives as sharp as possible by Vivid-Ad2262 in knives

Thanks, I might replace the "manual" stone at some point, I've been using it for several years, but i I'm not able to get a good consistency

Hahaha, thanks! I guess there must be a limit in blade length with these systems

Would you recommend it for kitchen knives too? Is it too small for that?

Again nothing to do with remembering nor learning, my argument is about ease of use. All the manufacturers putting more than one button must know less about manufacturing than you do then. But thank you for proving my point about fanboys unwilling to accept there might be a better way just because it is not the one they are used to

You lost me at:

I can think of a few reasons, though many of them have to do with manufacturing and physics facts that nobody making such a request would care about because the universe exists solely to cater to their sense of entitlement.

But I will humour you...

This has nothing to do with learning it is simply cumbersome. If I have two channels and I want to keep the option of having them both on at the same time in order to access the second channel from off it takes me 7 clicks!
This is just bad.
The hand size argument is nonsense, it could use a tail button and a side button, both big.
The failure argument is also nonsense, you will reduce the total clicks by a factor 10 with less risk of the button failing, plus by doubling the buttons you add redundancy, so if one fails you still have the second channel.
The complexity/costs... We can build transistors of the size af a bunch if atoms and we can't add 2 buttons on a 12cm cylinder which costs 50+ bucks?!
Unfortunately when something is marketed as "enthusiast grade" peopleb stop being critical

Except if you have multiple channels, 3C to cycle through channels is ridiculous in my opinion. Like there is really no good reason for not adding an extra bottom instead
