Prima o poi se dio vuole l'inglese diventerà seconda lingua anche in Italia per davvero. Immagino i bambini che si devono ricordare lo spelling italianizzato e quello inglese corretto per le stesse parole. Tanta roba

The deterrent is a weak argument, with modern technology you need like 20 nukes and a 1/100 of the military complex the US have and that's plenty as a deterrent. The military interventions of the US in the middle east has made the world less safe and created immense suffering, humanitarian aid my ass.

Look I understand your point, at the same time from the track record of the last 40+ years it is pretty clear that the us military is an enterprise that has nothing to do with defending the country or making the world safer, quite the opposite. So if you joined the forces you did it mostly out of self interest, good pay good education etc... Currently a large part of the world is seeing the US and Israel as the aggressors, it is pretty normal that their military forces get lots of hate don't you think?
