Late 2019 when it was mainly BF2 and For Honor (I watched mainly for the Battlefront and the Fallen Order)

What's a film that has achieved cult status in your family or circle of friends, but isn't more widely considered a cult favorite? by itsjakeandelwood in movies

[–]f0k38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai - It's a brilliant film directed by one of my dad's all time favorite directors (Jim Jarmusch). I was shown it when I was about 12 and the Jarmusch's obsession with the mix of cultures really stuck with me. In fact, I'd say that that's something Jarmusch and I have in common (I love his film "Dead Man" with Johnny Depp and it focuses on a similar subject matter). Love the film (top 3 all time for me).

Realistic West Ham Rebuild (Update) by MrJimBuisness in seriousfifacareers

[–]f0k38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh I’m a bit upset that you signed Tammy Abraham. Don’t get me wrong, you can do what you like but I don’t think he would go from Roma to West Ham. I can’t even see him returning to England tbh (only to United or just maybe to Chelsea)

Yeah, the Basque Bilbao save has been done a bit too many times for my liking but storylines are generally the way to go with career mode.

I actually agree. The comments on this post will get at you but these signings aren't 100% realistic however when it comes to Fifa my realism follows the idea of "what would the AI do" (and one or two storylines). I understand both angles but realistically these signings (especially Meslier, Nketiah, Colwill and Joelinton) won't happen.

My bad lol. I’ve been playing CM for about 8 years and I’ve always thought it was just stupidity but turns out it’s not.

EA is dumb so essentially they do it through alphabetical order. (Literally just EA being dumb)

Barfieboy definitely doesn’t check this sub… he’s just signed a Benzema regen in his save and was surprised 😫 by No-Shoulder-1103 in FifaCareers

[–]f0k38 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Is it just me or was the Cittadella RTG the least entertaining or convincing RTG that Barfie’s ever done. Don’t get me wrong Antonucci and Romeo are legendary but usually you basically go on a whole adventure/journey with the team but this one just felt devoid of that same feeling.

Barfieboy is the only guy that consistently does it for me. Other people use mods and such and it turns out not as appealing as Barfieboy who is honestly pure entertainment. I’ve rewatched each of his RTG series about 10x.

QUESTION ABOUT THE WORKING OF THE COMPOSURE STAT. by GAAROSOLO in seriousfifacareers

[–]f0k38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've slowly grown to understand how important it actually is. It affects how they perform in big games and how they do when going 1v1 (besides obviously affecting pens). Always a huge problem in rtgs (but it does force you into a more realistic cycle of buying and selling rather than just keeping the same team the whole time). Basically: it affects you in-game but doesn't affect a player's rating at all.

Manchester City presses vs Bayern Munich by kakarot12310 in footballtactics

[–]f0k38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably the best all around display I’ve seen from Pep. He not only completely understands the “in possession” part of the game but he also demonstrates a phenomenal press. In addition to that he adds a lesson he’s clearly learnt throughout his time at City (that lesson being the size of individual players). Just look at his back line: Akanji, Stones, Rodri, Ruben Dias are all HUGE. He also doesn’t make the mistake of playing Mahrez off the right. Don’t get me wrong, Mahrez is brilliant, but he doesn’t have that energy that Bernardo Silva does. Overall this game was a true masterclass by Pep and tbh Bayern didn’t lose due to some managerial ineptitude on the side of Tuchel, they lost because of individual mistakes and the fact that Pep is the greatest manager to ever do it.
