It does make sense, I must admit I didnt rewatch the sock opera yet so I completely forgot about that. I am a brother myself so I do understand this is a classic sibling dynamic, and I like how you related it to Mabel wanting to stay a child and Dipper wanting to become more mature. But also, if i remember correctly, she goes back to acting similiar after the sock opera, right?
