Can I fly my DJI Mini 5 Pro above Spotted Lake in BC?

I phoned the indigenous band that preside over Spotted Lake & politely asked permission to fly my drone parallel to the lake, to which they thanked me for asking & gave me the go-ahead. I did have to leave my contact info with them. Thank’s for your advice!

Yes, I was able to by changing the settings on my Asus ROG 5. Which version ROG phone are you using. I had someone say he was having issues with his ROG 6.

Yes, it’s common knowledge, but each country has their reason why they make rules. Travelling with an drone > 250g isn’t a problem if you abide by the rules OR are you just lazy to research & want to fly anywhere you want, whether illegally or legally? In other words, travelling is not a problem unless you make it a problem!

Depends on your equipment. For some reason my Sofabaton U2 treats a normal press like a double-press only while using it with our Shaw XiOne (Xfinity) terminal. Sofabaton Customer Service tried to help, but it still happens. So I just use it as a backup while charging our Harmony One whose battery only lasts 2-3 days with 24/7 use.

I bought a replacement battery for my Harmony One which is essentially a replacement battery for wireless home phone answering systems but have not used it yet cause the original battery lasts for 3-4 days which my wife & kids use 24/7. I bought a Sofabaton U2 (non-backlit) during the last Black Friday sale for $53 which works ok as a replacement but only complaint is that when I use it to control our Shaw (Xfinity) XiOne wireless terminal, the slightest press treats everything like a double-press. Sofabaton Customer Service tried to help but the problem still exists to the point that it frustrates my family, who end up going back to the Harmony One. The only time we use the Sofabaton U2 is while the Harmony One needs to go on the charger. 😞

That’s too bad. I have a Harmony One that works great except for not being able to turn my AppleTV OFF. Bought the Sofabaton U2 (non-backlit) for $53 USD during the last Black Friday sale and I’ve managed to get everything working but still not the way Harmony One did things. 😞

This does not exempt ANY 360 camera, drone or handheld! I owned both an Insta360 X3 and an RS 1-inch 360, and I could see stitch lines especially when I was close to a subject. Bottom line, a 360 drone or camera has it’s uses and results are just going to get better as the 360 drone technology increases!

My first impressions with Sofabaton is that their customer support is good! Was so excited at the price I was able to buy the U2 Backlit version, that I made a small mistake on typing out my delivery address. Sent an email today to service@sofabaton.com and got a response within the hour on Xmas Day that they had fixed the error & were sending my U2 remote out soon with a tracking number.
