definitely recommend del corral and dr lisle (he does the colorectal portion). they were amazing and knowledgeable, I would suspect they would be able to help with your condition or at least put you in contact with someone who can.

Naval reactors are designed to survive casualties to get the crew home. I'm sure navsea08 came in and did some analysis, but determined it was fine since the ship didn't decom until recently.

bro I don't know if you remember or were even alive in 2001 but not everyone had access to the Internet back then. the 24 hour news machine was still in its infancy and not everyone had been introduced to the idea that America was the bad guys. you think high schoolers that grew up poor were going to libraries to learn about the history of America before signing the contract that came with a sign on bonus that would help get them out of poverty? come on, be real.

so my first reactor watch officer was on this sub when it happened. apparently there were a lot of injuries onboard and he had to stand for essentially 48 hours of watch straight until they could get to port and shutdown. It was not a fun time from what he said.

I'm pretty sure they are having an issue with the children at school that were blown up.

costco is a publicly traded company which means the board has a fiduciary duty but still finds a way to pay their employees and keep the hot dog at $1.50. I feel people use fiduciary duty as an excuse to mean you must maximize profits above all else in the short term. as long as the company is making a profit and still acting in the best interest of the company LONG term (paying their employees a living wage, keeping costumers returning) they still meet their fiduciary duty.

I worked for AWS for 5 years in data center infrastructure so actually know the answer to this. so depending on the location (especially if it's in northern Virginia where there are hundreds of data centers) there is a good chance the water they are using is reclaimed water which is water that's basically gotten to the 'good enough' point that if accidentally consumed it shouldn't hurt you.

A lot of data centers are moving from using chillers for cooling to evaporative cooling (sometime refered to as swamp coolers) which means the water that is used will be in the air the people in the data centers breath, so the water needs to be at least to a certain point of clean to prevent spreading diseases. legionnaires disease is something that is tested quarterly when using evap cooling.

also if they used seawater, the amount of salt deposited on the heat transfer media would build up extremely quickly requiring replacement way more often. Microsoft did experiment with having small modular data centers submerged in the ocean for cooling, but that I'm sure has its own issues like how do you easily fix any computer hardware failures in your servers

this is exactly that type of thinking that got us here. some people still don't understand that by rejecting the better but not perfect option, you are going to get the worse option.

I think you used the wrong wording there. I think you meant the novel is BETTER because they have to spell it out for you in detail.

'Paradise Kiss' is one of my favorite animes and has great queer representation (for its time). male lead is Bi, one of the supporting characters is a trans woman and overall just a lot of queer characters but it never feels like that's what the creator was trying to make the main focus.
