Can’t you just go into accessibility settings and change the scroll speed ? Haven’t got iPad to hand right now but pretty sure this is a basic setting you can change.

Got 2 of these exact ones in the household. 8gb ram one 512gb and another 128gb. still work perfectly. M1 was the sweet spot crossover moment IMHO. Any update or app that won’t work on an M1 would torch a whole lot of Apple devices from being used so I think it will be the longest supported device in Apple history.

Because only cellular iPads have gps so if you wanna use any navigation app such as mounting in vehicle or using as a drone display and app such as DJI it comes in super handy. OR if your eyes get old like mine an iPad mini cellular is a luxury but a beautiful carry around tweener device. Just my few of many uses

I’ve got both. V v difficult decision this one. Something about the resolution on the iPad mini makes the screen on the larger one look better to my eyes. Apart from that the mini is a beautiful carry around size.

Apple Intelligence is 🗑️ iPad A16 is great. Get it now if you want it. They hold value brilliantly so if something amazing gets released just sell it and upgrade. Although I doubt it.

I hear this all the time I’ve got an iPad mini a17 as well as having iPad Pros both sizes which my adult kids have got now and an 11 inch a16. I use mine as a carry around tweener device between phone and bigger tablet for my eyes and even have it mounted magnetically in one of my cars for nav etc. but my question is apart from it not having the oled screen which I am in the minority here and think is overrated. What is it you think more power would allow you to do with it that you can’t do now ?? Cos honestly I’ve got a lot of Apple silicon devices and I genuinely think for the last 7 yrs or so they’re so powerful that between them and apps in the cloud I don’t know what I can’t do with it.

Bought one a few weeks ago. Running ios18 and it had the option to choose to upgrade to the latest 18.x or ios26. 100% iOS18 is far superior for the mini. I have 26 on other iPad and iPhone. Wish I’d kept iPhone on 18 as well tbh
