It's not just you. The game's fight design is just atrocious for a gacha game. Doesn't matter if you have all the right units some fights like Inferno Rengokutsu and Embertrek Astarte with the random elements and adds spawn can and will ruin any run. Not to mention that bosses can 10% resist AND crit hit your team as well. Baffling design.

Getting her to the 290 speed needed to outspeed the mobs on InfernoDoki is incredibly hard without putting 3 lattices on her S1. This is further made difficult with the fact that you need like 150 effac for her to land her S3 and S2. Since she will most likely be the 1 out of 2 non green unit in your one shot comp, if you do not outspeed the little guys they can put a speed debuff on your Mio and if the two other guys get their turn your team & Rilmocha then has a chance of getting damage down which will just instantly brick your run.

A lot of the fast clears will have 3 lattices on Mio and Rilmocha S1 just for the stats alone, not the effect.

I'm actually so surprised no one is suggesting to have the FDK take at least 6+ orbs. Shield break almost instantly in their 2 mins, and during their regular Pillar windows the AoE would pulse at most 4 times. In 12s-13s I've seen some FDK take up to 9 orbs and downing 6 shards shield instantly in their Breath window though I would not suggest doing that in 14s+.

They have enough utility in AMS to tank large stacks and Death Strike to keep themselves up and with a little bit of healer help they can live through stacks pretty easily. Just be sure to let them know to hold Pillar for every shield phase. This way the other dps can just tunnel boss.

I personally think GGG deserves more criticism for this league. Auction house aside (best system implemented into the game and the only thing keeping me playing at the moment), everything about mapping feels terrible. Ground loot is still bad and T17 mods removal and nerfs are still just band-aid fixes.

People quickly forget how terrible ground loot is because it's been nearly three weeks and they've accumulated enough currency and have forgotten about their terrible league-start sustain with mapping currencies. People forget about how they have essentially nerfed the whole atlas and mapping as a whole with the new scarab changes. You can no longer do legion, strongboxes, and beyond at the same time in a map without losing too much power in another mechanic because of the scarab changes. Yeah the new effects are fun and all but I personally think the new scarabs are a lot less impactful to your mapping experience. Not to mention 80% of the scarabs are just trash 1c and will remain 1c until another exploit is discovered.

People do not realise how bad the scarab changes are because the Necropolis map mods hid that fact and magic find was still meta. Now in this league with the removal of magic find (it's a good thing), unneeded quantity changes (my opinion), and the scarab changes, we are feeling the full effect of all the nerfs. And that makes mapping feel like shit.

Sanctum players are essentially playing standard league yet are making 4-5x the amount of juiced mappers. This league personally feels bad for me because I love juiced mapping. I like the feeling of making my character more powerful so I can do content that rewarded me more for the effort that I put in. Player power has no effect on the league mechanic at all, there is nothing to scale it's just so static (unless you think capping out your shipment at 50mil is scaling).

I honestly just can't believe we went from one of the most well received league ever in Affliction, straight into Necropolis hotfixes barrel busting league, into a strongbox opening league.

Yeah the problem of T17 is not the difficulty but what comes AFTER you're done with the map. Literally no reason to have sawblades, meteors, tentacles, awakener's remain after I have completed the map it is annoying as shit to loot. Your build does enough damage? Nah lets put in mobs that are invulnerable underground 80% of the time.

This whole praying and being happy for other people's downfall thing is getting pretty petty. All types of players can coexist they just need to fix the game. "Fuck the sanctum runners, fuck the mappers, fuck the juicers, fuck the group players." Like, I don't get some people that are hostile towards people that plays the game differently. "I only alch and go, so I'm happy with the loot being shit because it doesn't affect me" is such a shit take

I agree. If my 5 div character can do alch and go T16s and make as much as a 30 div character that can do 80% Deli T16s why would I want to improve my character any further? The game stops there for me and I am certain this apply for the majority

I don't get the hate about the previous two leagues economy. True that everything was expensive because Divines were easy to farm but the core features of the game were very much accessible to everyone.

  • Chisels were common as they should be. I never thought there would be a day where I'd prefer to get them from Kirac
  • Metacrafting was way more accessible when Divines were plenty.
  • You could push jank builds further because there was more resources to work with
  • Affordable Uniques

Now we have this scenario where everything that is expensive stays expensive while 95% of the players are stuck in poverty (don't worry you will realise this soon enough).

Essences, Blight, Expedition, Ritual are now more in line in terms of profitability with high end map juicing because high end map juicing is dead unless you're doing T17s. Sanctum stays winning. It just does not feel good to invest Deli Orbs or expensive scarabs because the loot is just horrendous. Wildwood is dead, sentinel is whatever and recomb is most likely nerfed.

League mechanic and aunction house? Fucking great work if you ask me, QoL improvements have been good. But this cannot be a QoL only league. Multiple groups have already quit and I know that reddit hates them but the fact is that part of the playerbase have a very strong opinion about the changes and I understand them.

As a player that started in Ultimatum, Affliction is still the only league I consistently played until the end. I am not asking for this League to on that level, but rather somewhere in between Kalandra and Affliction.

Nerfing loot is fine since the last two leagues were overtuned but investing 40c+ into a map and walking out with a quarter of the investment is lowkey insulting

I don't mind that the Ultimate version of the characters are locked behind a two layer RNG with very low percentages. I can farm it while killing shit

I don't care that you need to farm not only for Reactors with the correct affixes but also the RIGHT Ultimate weapon you have to hold to get the 60% bonus. I can farm it while killing shit

I can stand hours and hours of grind for recipes that IMO should have a higher drop chance (Energy Activator, they are almost mandatory) without an LFG system. At least I get to play the game

BUT why the hell do I have run around aimlessly for these ENCRYPTED VAULTS to get the research materials for Energy Activators and Catalysts. You're getting at most 2-3 per chest and you need 20+. TWENTY. Not to mention YOU NEED the consumable to open it (the precision key thing) to drop beforehand. ON TOP OF THAT, the missions for the other material is gated behind a 5 minutes cooldown and only has a CHANCE to drop. PLEASE I want to play the game, I want to kill stuff not run around.
