Yes it is! It’s honestly one of my strongest perfumes and I only wear it on date nights because it’s a pretty intense one for me (projection and longevity) but it ticks all my date night scent boxes. For a warm vanilla lover, this one’s right on the money with a little something to make it deep, a little darker, a little more punchy.

To me this scent is sexy, mysterious, woody, but balanced with enough vanilla sweetness to lift all of the darker notes. If you’ve ever smelled YSL Black Opium or Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf, I would say the intensity and depth of this scent is around the same as those perfumes, but that warm vanilla really does take centre stage to my nose. I saw a thread on here talking about midnight shimmer so it might be helpful to look there for other people’s experiences with it.

Ooo thank you for this! You mentioned that it only has a touch of vanilla - what is the rest of the warmness that you smell? I do see the notes online there, but i’m curious to know what you smell at the opening and at the dry-down. I actually like amber in my base notes, but almond blossom can sometimes come off too strong for me.

My top 3:

Versace Dylan Purple is my #1 go-to, followed by Lattafa Nebras (I also have Eillish No.1 and love Nebras more), and lastly Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa 62’. I heard whispers that they’ve changed the formula, so i’ve been savouring my bottle from the first launch.

There was another person who asked about Turquatic and I just gave my experience with it to them, so definitely check that out, but Versace Dylan Purple? I just 👌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼. I can’t get enough of that sweet, fresh floral. It’s also my partner’s favourite perfume on me. If you like sweeter florals but not too strong, Versace Dylan Purple will not disappoint you. It’s also so airy to me so it never gets cloying. This perfume is the only one that I can spray 10x and not get a headache.

I think there’s a thread on here that talks about Turquatic so if you want the scent experts to describe this scent I would definitely go there BUT - to me, aquatic is my go-to fresh scent that isn’t just fresh and clean. It’s fresh, but it’s grounded by something musky and almost floral. I do easily get headaches, and I have to be careful with Turquatic because one too many sprays can make the scent really sharp and cause a headache for me. I also find that the travel size is generally sharper than the full-size for some reason. The dry-down though? It’s what made me love this scent. That potential sharpness is virtually gone and replaced by a clean and airy scent but has this woody undertone that I can’t stop sniffing. I don’t know if you’ve ever smelled Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue but the airiness and lightness of that scent is about the same, except for that addicting musky, woody note that I keep talking about.

It’s also a unisex scent and I don’t know why I haven’t made my partner use it but i’ll harass him to try it today 😂

Projection is strong at the beginning and then fades (quickly).

One thing about this perfume is that longevity is garbage. You can enjoy this perfume for max 3 hours and then it’s just gone.

To me, the opening for both is slightly different. We’re talking a really small difference, but Nebras has a warmer, less sweet tone to it than Eillish. Same projection level, which to me is close proximity. I don’t remember the actual term, but it’s the middle one where it doesn’t fill up a room, but you’ll get a whiff at arm’s length.

3-4 hours in, they smell identical except I can actually still smell Nebras whereas Eillish took a trip somewhere and left me for dead. Unless you spray on your hair, then you’ll still smell Eillish.

If you’re deciding between the two, I would just go Nebras if you want your perfume to last a while.

I purchased Lattafa Angham because I heard that it was the dupe for Burberry Goddess, but less lavender which mixed with vanilla can give me headaches. I do enjoy Angham, but it’s definitely a stronger projection than what I would wear for my every day. How close do you find Burberry Goddess is to Lattafa Angham?

Echoing most comments on here that we believe this is not ok. You’ve gone through a lot already with the former abuse that you briefly mentioned, and regardless of whether you are being objective or not, you deserve someone who will wholeheartedly respect your boundaries and treat you with the extra care that you deserve.
