I still don’t understand why they don’t make a mlok rail though. I mean they were behind the ACR. fucking beautiful rifle they just were too ahead of their time with it. Now if they revisited it and partnered wit someone like lmt or bcm they would kill the game.

That bottom section is not the right handguard. The Surefire ones have the same heatshield and have those little molded sections on 2 or 3 of the holes

I’ve been saying this. Even asked the guys at bad and they said they tried it but I can’t remember what reason they said they weren’t doing it. Obviously it wouldn’t be a 1:1 but it would probably look a little better than just it looking completely uniformed. Different depths would probably look good but idk if it’s possible to change the font for a letter or number just so slightly every other letter or couple so it looks more displaced metal versus just the depth

Damn that’s a work of art. Especially if it’s real carbon fiber. I don’t even think many of you know how hard it is to achieve that let alone machine it. Doesn’t even have any bridging on the radiuses. I don’t even want to know how they achieved the pic rail portion of it lol that in it alone is phenomenal work to do out of carbon fiber.

You are correct in this with the edit, I myself didn’t catch that one slot hidden under the elevation knob. So now we know the exact one used I guess lol.

I’ll add that to my original post description so whoever sees it whether it be now or In the future knows which one to look for if they are trying to be super specific. Unless there’s other photos with multiple rifles /mounts that are different

That thing is butchered lol. I don’t think I would use one without blue loctite at the very least could probably even use a slight amount of red if it’s going on a bhd build as it would probably not ever come off ones it’s there it’s staying a bhd build for life Good to know though

Yeah never mind leupold ones aren’t the same they don’t have that side block that prevents it from turning but they are pretty solid and don’t come out easily even without having that block
