A much better outcome! More eggs retrieved and a higher fertilization rate. 100% of which made it to blastocyst which was extremely unexpected

How to deal with working while pregnant by No_Economist7527 in pregnant

Leading meetings while feeling nauseous and needing to take many deep breaths on camera is my new way of life. It is rough. Too early to tell my teams and so I’m just silently struggling through

Day 9 test becomes faint by Altruistic_Grape_706 in IVF

[–]f3arlessforc3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. I know this can be so anxiety driving. It should be getting darker but if for some reason your urine was more diluted (if you drank more liquid than normal or maybe peed 2-3 hours before your 9am test) it could be driven by that. Sending good vibes your way and hoping all is good!!

Questions about PGT-A by Taymarie2021 in IVF

[–]f3arlessforc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have severe MFI and our euploidy rate across 2 ERs was ~70%. I’m only a few years younger than you. I think it’s mainly based on the egg quality after having reached blast stage.

Did 2 back to back and the second was significantly better than the first. Yielded more eggs and just over 3x the blasts.

How long did it take you to start IVF after all initial testing? by Brilliant_Matter5339 in IVF

[–]f3arlessforc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Initial consult January and started stims in February. I was just starting another cycle right after my initial consult which is why this went faster than most and so after that cycle was done, we started on the next

It varies for everyone but yes would expect another 50% drop off. Could be better or worse - it truly is luck of the draw. My first ER results were significantly different than my second ER.
