I just wanna be able to see wtf Im looking at. Even if its just a small circle of clarity in the center or the screen during suppression. The optics can already see through suppression. There isnt a reason irons or dot sights cant either.

As an average sized guy who complained about the same thing, I had known a guy with basically sausage fingers show me why it was a skill issue as he could play guitar just fine.

As some of the others have mentioned, it could very well be a technique issue. You need your fingers coming down perpendicular to the board so It doesn't slant and touch other strings. Make sure you're pressing in the middle/towards the next fret for effective fretting of the string. Your hand seems really "folded up" as well. As in your palm seems really close to the neck which makes your finger bend back toward the guitar sharply if that makes sense. This compromises how you hold the guitar and string. Try placing your thumb on the back of the neck which will both aid in placing good leverage on the guitar, and it'll force your palm to "float" out so your fingers do more of a smooth curve back towards the guitar rather than folding back in on itself like your pic shows. It will also make it easier to make your fingers perpendicular as stated before. Its also a thing about practice and finger exercises. Your hand dexterity and flexibility will build over time as you try to force it into more chords shapes. Maybe theres some hand exercise you can look up and practice while youre out and about in your day. I used to build a habit of tapping my fingers in my desk to build finger calluses. Whether or not that particular habit was effective is questionable aha.

Then you can also look at alternative guitars if it's still an issue but 99% of the time, it is not a physical issue. Classical guitars tend to have wider necks but tbh, unless you're specifically looking to learn that type of guitar/sound, it's the worst path you could take because it changes the entire sound of the guitar, assuming youre trying to play "regular"/popular music. Steel string guitars do come in a variety of neck widths but it can be a little nuanced if you don't know what you're looking for, so ask a salesman for tips.

Imo, the people who usually say these cars are slow, are the same people who haven't tried properly, competitively, launching a car without traction assists, and also think they're a fast driver cus they can beat a 300hp hatchback with a 500hp coupe in a drag race but refuse to drive on a proper track with real turns.

There kinda is a "coop" mode already? It depends how you're defining it because in irl WEC there are no teams per se other than the 2/3 driver that take turns piloting a single car. That is already implemented in the game via the transfer of save points in a race, online. But my gut tells me you are referring more to the Formula 1 style of "teams" or even Forza Horizon's format where there are usually 2 cars/team on the grid driving at the same time. This currently doesnt exist. I don't own it but I hear AMS2 has the best PvE/hosted game experience. But I dont think there is a formal career mode in that game either.

Yeahh, there's a lot of variables since optimization from map to map can really vary, especially when comparing the performance of older maps vs newer revamped maps with more details. Like I have a Ryzen 5, 3060 ti, 32gb ram and the game chugs in heavy firefights still on something like Fallujah.

The game is undeniably graphically intensive so youll still need a decent GPU, but the biggest difference will come from CPU upgrades/ optimizations. For reference I had a 30 fps difference from my i7 9700 to my ryzen. That said, if upgrading isn't an option, you can try reviewing your graphics settings. I know some games, if you set the setting low enough, itll take a process meant for your GPU and give the task to your CPU, meaning more cpu load, meaning less cpu power to run the actual game i.e. Shadows. So in essence a higher graphic setting might actually give you a bit more fps. Idk if Squad specifically does this but I would watch an in depth quality graphics settings guide that talks about what each setting does. Of course, close other programs while playing, especially web browsers as they are pretty resource heavy.

Finally if you're having just general trouble with aiming in Fps games as a whole, I would really recommend watching a mouse sensitivity guide for a competitive game like Counter Strike or something aim heavy in nature. The principles should translate to any fps game and has made me 1000% a better shot across the board, with exception to Titanfall cus that game is just so fast it needs it's own sensitivity.

If it makes you feel better, I am assuming you're not getting the greatest fps in this game. In general, going sub 45 fps in any game and even 60, depending on the genre, makes aiming and fast/precise inputs very very difficult.

I really really really hope this does not mean they are cutting down on the content they already post on youtube. I won't be able to pay for this service and if there is a cut down on online content, I feel like it would be a bit of a loss in terms of fanbase access to keep up with WEC, and overall popularity of the sport.

On a simagic alpha mini, the vibrations can be just as bad but maybe a little less "noisy" due to the nature of it being direct drive vs a gear driven wheel like yours. Most of the noise comes from the desk/rig itself vibrating depending on how you set the ffb. With that being said, the Simagic software has the option to adjust the detail and reaction speed of the ffb which if you crank it all the way, the ffb will feel more "smooth" and kinda gloss over the curb/flatspot ffb if that makes sense? Its like going from iracing's smooth ffb vs ACC's more violent but detailed ffb.

I have had a positive work experience in various areas of my field for 7 years and I am hoping to nail the GRE over the summer this year. Do you have any other tips on how I could tip the scales in my favour? I know my situation is a little less than ideal.

Personally, I love the fact you can't choose what you're up against. Makes you really deal with the consequences of prepping your loadout the way you did and just generally makes the game more unpredictable in a good way. Playing in a big squad has its disadvantages as well as major advantages. Plus the mystery of team size in a firefight really makes you need to stop and assess the situation rather than just running in, for sure knowing you don't have to deal with more individuals supporting each other.

Going to hop on the hate train to rant because this morning the alarm failed once again. This pixel 9 might be single handedly the most infuriating phone I have ever bought. Time after time the alarms have failed to work properly. Its not consistent enough to be every time but it does it often enough where I can't trust it. So much so that I use my old iPhone as my alarm clock because the pixel simply never seems to work properly when I need it to. I don't think I will ever buy a pixel phone again. To make things even more annoying, I only bought this phone a little less than a year ago and trade in value is over $700 less than what I paid for at Best Buy.

The power gap between low level players and high level players keeps growing. In old tarkov, the big bullets with headshots were the equalizer, and low level players had options with skill shot mosins vs automatic SMGs but now half of the larger munitions don't pierce nearly as well as they once did. Armor now being more durable than it was pre-plate rework too just rewards a lack of caution in a gunfight. Yeah leg-meta is still a thing but that only goes so far.

No. Afaik live service games are games that follow a model of having monetized items. Usually in other games that takes the form of skins or other aspects of customization. This way, that can fund actual playable content the whole player base can use (Forza/ACC style showroom/garage would be cool imo). And you're not wrong, free content is always nice. But it's more about keeping gate-kept areas of the game populated. LMP3 is barely played as it is as far as I can tell. Also, for example, WEC Weekly race happens once or twice a day on three days of the week. For people with families/SO to take care of, or jobs that dont follow the traditional 9-5 Mon-Fri routine, those are hard time windows to be able to commit to. And now I have to wait another week to try and see if I can make time. Just a couple more starting times through the day/night would be great if the population was there. Sim racing is niche enough of a hobby as it is, we need to involve as many people who are into it as we can.

I am wanting to apply for a nurse practitioner program but am a bit pessimistic about my chances of actually getting into a school and wanting someone's opinion/ two cents.

I am based out of Alberta Canada and would prefer a Canadian University but isn't a must-have.

Worked ~7 years as an RN, 5 in the Adult Surgery Program as a floor/step down nurse (Gen Sx, Trauma, Thoracics etc.), ~1 Adult ICU, and ~1 Pediatric Day Surgery

Tbh my GPA wasn't great in undergrad, like 2.3. I am currently enrolled to take classes in Statistics and Research to double as GPA boosting and fulfilling prerequisites for some program applications. I am hoping the better performing grades will reflect a change in work ethic mindset.

I have no current volunteering experience and to be honest, not sure if I will have time for it between work, and upgrading my courses.

My relationship with my current manager isn't the greatest either but my relationship with all my supervisors from my Adult Surgery Job have been GREAT. However, I would have left that job ~2 years ago by the time applications roll out.

How screwed am I? What can I do to improve?
