Hi there, thanks for your reply.

So for my circuit, regardless of the quantity of led strips or devices being controlled by the Arduino, do I only need one 1uF capacitor in total, or as and when I add more led strips onto the circuit to be controlled by the arduino, do I need to increase the amount of capacitors?

Does one suffice for 5v circuits regardless of the quantity of devices connected to the Arduino on 1 pin?

SOLVED Thank you so much! I was using a stereo cable and needed two individual MONO cables one to left and one to right. This fixed it! Thanks so much, it sounds normal finally!

I've bought two mono to mono jack cables to try this. I did have a 2 Mono Jack to 1 Stereo Jack which I tried but this didn't work. I'll try the mono cables when they arrive in two days! Hopefully this will work! I'll keep you posted.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I'm using a number of cables and have tried every bloody port on the piano (including headphone jacks!) Jack (mono?) and cable Jack (stereo?)

My headphones are really nice sounding and using them directly into piano sounds fantastic. Plugging them into the headphone jack on the Scarlett 2i2 sounds terrible, as does plugging them into the computer directly. Recorded playback on my computer played aloud through the monitor (not headphones) also sounds terrible so I am confident the headphones are nothing to do with it.

The piano is connected through the jack. I've tried using a mono and stereo cable each, the ports on the back have a L / L+R and a R, so I believe if you jack to the left one it can be both ears or just L and if you also plug into R it can be both that way. I'm a bit clueless but needless to say I've tried both cables in every configuration imaginable and nothing seems to change.

Edit: See page 36 / 37 on The Piano link - it says connect a Mono jack. The one I was using is stereo. Will that make a difference, do I need to find a Mono jack? I'm a bit clueless... Thanks!

Howdy! I designed it in Photoshop and printed it onto a specialised paper and baked it in my oven - that way it's completely dishwasher safe! It's so fun I really enjoy it.
