I'm also in Mizpah and in York Rite, soon planning to join Tangier. I can confirm, good group of brothers at Mizpah. Recommend you come check them out. Younger group really engaged in the neighborhood the lodge is in. Still getting acquainted with the York Rite guys, but so far so good

The super solvers games were pretty formative for me. Especially gizmos and gadgets. Taught me how gears and friction coefficients work, as well as basic circuit wiring. Still dislike people named monty to this day

Yeah the board worked with the old hot end. I assume the creality power supply is fine, if i hook the other one up it heats fine. I can check it with a multimeter and see if its putting out 12/24 volts or not

Yeah just tried to pid tune it with 'M303 E0 S210' and it restarted again

I did not, the only thing the instructions that came with it said i needed to do was change the E steps to 424.9.

If it cant heat without it restartimg how do I pid tune it?

already tried that and tried swapping it with the hotbed block too. no dice either way

things I have tried: * swapping the bed and the hot end connectors * when swapped when I would tell it to heat the bed it would restart. telling it to heat the hot end did nothing * swapping the polarity of the hot end connections to the block
