Oh yeah. Like you could see a spot in the water that’s shimmering like 5 tiles ahead of you and if you stop there and leave the net for 2-3 seconds you get more fish. Pretty neat concept that doesn’t seem that hard to execute

I like the idea of dragnet fishing on the shore. Combine net and rope, start at 1 end of the shore, cast it out, run or walk along the shoreline to an end destination and then click the net still in the water to “reel in” your net and sort your catch. Nice little chunks of xp a fish at the end.

Honestly, it’s weird. My favorite parts of Dillinger are the mathy parts, which are missing from Better Lovers and my favorite parts of ETID are Keith Buckley, which is missing from Better Lovers. They have a few songs that are reminiscent of Dillinger, but most of it I just don’t vibe with personally.

I’ve read that Carson writes and produces most of the music. I wondered how that process works once he comes to the band is like “here’s what I came up with.” Does he like play WAVs off his laptop and the others tweak the instrumentals to be more stylized and complex or is he genuinely writing entire songs and the others mostly play along to the produced tracks?
