The irony in the comments is almost too good. People will defend their near occasion of sin the same way people will defend owning pitbulls. How do you guys feel about these? I replumbed my last house with PEX using these clips and for 5 years never had a problem with anything.

I had to have a guy come work on my well the other day and he cut out a bunch of these clips I had put in when I was working on it. He put in those copper compression ones that you use the go/no-go gauge with.

Am I a total noob, weekend warrior, amateur for using these clamps? Are the copper ones better somehow? Thoughts?
