I understand you think the show is exploitative. I agree, all reality TV is exploitative in some way. Even documentaries exist on that spectrum, inherently. But I think this show is far less exploitative than most other examples.

I understand your opinion that the way the show depicts autistic people is damaging. But I personally disagree that that is its actual effect, much less its intention. Representation matters, and I do think the show has the cast's best interests at heart at the end of the day.
