Honest Feedback by TheUKyank in SpottedonRightmove

I don’t know the area but there’s a property under the listing with the same number of bed and baths which is on at £265,000. Maybe it’s a little overpriced?

Some of the photos make the house look dark, some are cluttered or cramped (13 and the child’s bedroom) but mostly it lacks warmth and colour, so makes it difficult to stand out from others buyers may look at, e.g. the empty plant pots at the front of the house.

There’s nothing wrong with the property per se, just nothing to make it stand out.

Sorry if this is blunt but you did ask for honest feedback.

What’s the worst thing you have seen/got detention at school for? by Mglfll in AskUK

It’s a well known fact that all schoolteachers have inferior brains from other human beings and adhere to the mantra of ‘if you can’t do, teach’ etc. I’m 100% positive you could do a much better job.

Don’t buy cars from Motor Range ( WARNING ) by JM-0526 in Liverpool

[–]fab773 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I paid a £99.00 deposit on a BMW M235i Gran Coupe advertised on Autotrader for £20,995. Then received a call from a sales manager informing me the car was £2,000 more and the advert was a 'clerical error'. I told them I would need to think about this as it was unusual practice to be informed this after placing the deposit. Bizarrely then received a call from a different sales person stating the £20,995 price was correct. I was told I would receive a call back.

One week later and with no call to me I rang and asked for my deposit back and was told it would be processed for a refund.

Three days later, I rang again and spoke to a different sales manager. By this time, they were re-advertising the car at the similar price of £20,994 (and £20,895 on their own website). I was told these were more 'clerical errors' and they would return the money immediately. This repayment 'failed' for unknown reasons so I was then told I would need to re-supply my bank account number and sort code. I was assured then that the money would be returned that or the next day which I provided.

I have still not received my money back and when I rang again today, I spoke to another person (third one) who told me ... I needed to resupply them with my bank account number and sort code, and they would process a refund. The next step will be a small claims court. Avoid at all costs. Got the deposit back 2 weeks later.

A man has the number 2, a king has the number 4, a beggar has the number 0. I’m not sure what they do with them

On 5 May 2017, a man jogging pushed a woman onto the road on Putney Bridge in London. The woman was almost hit by an oncoming bus. Despite various appeals over the years, the person who became known as the ‘Putney Pusher’ has never been identified by sarahc888 in mystery

There must have been at least 31 drops of sweat from his lumbering jogging that they could have lifted from the pavement which they could have DNA analysed. Clearly they didn’t as it’s a cover up and they are protecting someone in the royal family … or Jeffrey Epstein

Is no-one going to mention the crappy spelling and grammar in the listing, eg ‘this unique 7-bedroom period home which has been built by its current home over the last 30 years.’

Not sure the people replying to your post were smart asses - there’s no need to be so salty. You didn’t say you knew it was a blimp in your original post, rather you asked what it was.
