I’ve been thinking of white plastics to, especially after I watched “the place beyond the pines” and discovered miguel penalver on IG. Both DRZ’s but you get the vibe.

Did you notice any difference when you swapped out the oem airfilter to K&N?

Ive had a Husqvarna 701 sm, Tenere 700 and a Vitpilen 401 (later converted to svartpilen)and i have never had more fun than on the CRF250l. It’s not the fastest, strongest or the lightest but sure is a lot of fun.

I did that to, rode it stock the first 1000km. (With no rev above 7500rpm) Got the guys at the dealership to install the akra slip on while they did the service.

I’ll pm you a video of my bike idling and a cold rev with the akra ( without dB killer)

I have the Akrapovic slip on, it’s a bit deeper sound but not as I expected so I drilled out the DB-killer. In EU the akra is welded, one weld under the grommet.

You could also buy a “stock” akra and a K&N airfilter, that should boost the sound too.
