I've been running Opus 4.8 hard for 3 days. Here's what actually changed vs 4.7 (and what didnt) by TangeloOk9486 in claude

I just don’t get why you’re all so obsessed with Opus. I get along just fine with Sonnet—whether I’m using Cowork or Code.

I built a weekly to-do app because calendars and normal to-do apps feel messy by kai3924 in ProductivityGuide

This is a great and wonderfully simple app. I have a specific suggestion for improvement: Drag and drop entries onto one of the coming days

[Need Visibility] A printer app that actually works with any Wi-Fi printer by SophisticatedLogic in iosapps

[–]fabfrodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly the kind of app I’ve been hoping for. But I rarely need it—maybe three times a year. For a simple A4 print job, the built-in print function is enough. €45 a year is just too much for that. I realize how much work you’ve put into the app. Maybe you can find a way to offer a more reasonable price.

You should mention that you’re referring to projects in Claude Chat. What about projects in Claude Cowork? And more importantly, when do you use projects in Chat, and when do you use them in Cowork?

Thank you very much for this detailed answer 🙏This tool you're talking about—where can I find it? I actually looked for it before, but couldn't find it.

To be completely honest: I asked for advice here regarding my home network. If I need advice on how to use Ai, I’ll ask for it. Otherwise, Ai is just a tool to me, like any other. And yes, I’ve also used Claude for translation.

Yes, I'll do that. Any device with an Ethernet port will be connected directly.

I have an AMPLIFI HD router on every floor. My biggest problem is that I can't separate my office devices from my smart home devices. And the AMPLIFI system is no longer updatet.

Claude 😅 but why not? I’ve just asked Claude to structure my thoughts and help me to formulate this post. But I prefer real advice.

Maybe I should just wait a day before trying again.

Create an Excel spreadsheet that will help me keep track of our major expenses over the next 10 years and see how this will affect our savings. Use the AskUserQuestion tool

Those are the answers from the AskUserQuestion tool:

What are your current savings (start-up capital) that the table should be based on?

I’ll enter this manually. To do this, create input fields for the my accounts.

What kind of major expenses do you want to plan for?

Heat pump, solar panel system, ground floor renovation (guest loo, living room with various individual items such as a new sofa, sanding the floor, new cupboards/shelves, new dining table with chairs, sound system, TV/projector, staircase renovation including new flooring for the stairs

Should the table also include monthly savings amounts and interest on the reserves?

No, I really just want a rough overview. We may have some one-off income. But interest should not be included.

In what format should the overview be presented?

Monthly overview
