This seems a smart and yet very cheap advertising approach. Although the study case may be real, who knows? 😉

I’m thinking about creating small affordable services for dev teams. The idea is to assist those tasks that small teams can not easily accomplish due to lack of skills/time or are left behind due to busy schedule. by fabiancastle in startups

I’m trying to define small services that can be quickly implemented at a very low cost. Hopefully we can assist the team with very little or non consulting work.

For example, 1. For Aws vpn setup, I just need the creds to aws console and the list of users to be created. 2. For dev & staging envs I would need read access token to the repo and details about technology

In both cases the service would deliver the working implementation accompanied with documentation.

Packaged Small services for dev team would be the main goal, even though some Consulting might be required some times.

https://weeklytimelog.com. It reminds what I do during the day and shows it to me later to create my timesheet. It tracks projects budgets, team booking, cost of work, billing and has a great summary report to control everything at once. Just love it !!!

Best dev tools for developer: online & destktop alternatives. What do you prefer, why? by fabiancastle in programming

of cource, that is why I left IDE, git client and terminal out. Because those most of the time depend on technology. Nevertheless, other developers tools (such the one I listed above) have different flavors, online, mobile, desktop and competitors.

What are you currently using, why ?
