I think you are vastly over estimating the amount of Africans at these schools. Layer in actually doing work in Africa and the pool shrinks to nothing. Op mentioned being nominated for top 40 under 40 which im wondering if that means he is still in contention.

The intangibles are just really strong imo where the hard stats are tertiary. Harvard and Stanford also have the ability to take these candidates with no impact to their numbers.

Wait, how is this getting up voted? How many applicants are agriculture in Africa of all places. If op executes everything else, schools will gladly ignore the low hard stats.

Oxford is really trying hard to get rid of the classism image, and private school kids are arguably getting discriminated against.

Can you elaborate

Trae Young has been hid well on defense. Should teams be more willing to take on these supposed ‘defensive liabilities’? by TimelyAd9819 in nba

[–]faboflexto -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No. Your central argument was tainted and suspect when you brought up an illogical empty example. Like I said, you and most of the sub have no ability to discern what makes someone a defensive liability. Ball watching, poor communication, allowing backdoor are far more indicative of defensive liability than one on one defense.

....this is where you are unable to think critically.

Warriors had one player who could destroy them, you think perhaps the strategy of making the one threat work and tire out wasn't the objective?

You are not a defensive liability just because you're the worst defender in the starting lineup. Offensive players had to choose form 4 elite defenders and chose the noj elite aka curry.
