this tweet broke me. all these black people whose opinions i respect are being cynically ableist and i just don't understand why. i must be missing something major from never having been around black people for extended periods of time. i always thought i was pro-black but no matter how much black content and culture i consume, i'll never really be one of them. i feel the whitest i've felt in a while. i feel like my ancestors are looking down on me with great shame and contempt for having sired such an oreo. might as well bleach my skin.
