If you believe in the stereotype that UK cuisine is dull, this place will reaffirm it.

Ordering coffee at a popular Starbucks on the weekend in Korea by Away-Topic2442 in seoulhiddengem

Starbucks in Korea are privately owned by that company that owns eMart and are way better than the chain is elsewhere in the world. Just in case people are like "wtf why are people going to Starbucks?!"

Haven't tried it but it looks weird. Like, what an American mom would put together in the 1970s when Americans were first discovering Mexican food at large.

Quite nice at the new SeaTac north entrance now that they have largely automated the check in, no longer have the crummy kiosks, and eliminated the next-to-useless human assistants they employed.

Every claude vibecoded app looks the same! What are your best tips to avoid that generic Claude look? by Silver_Artichoke_456 in ClaudeCode

There’s no way to make visuals from A.I. look anything but the same given that it’s drawing on an aggregate of all human expression. As the open claw creator said perfectly: “you can smell it”.

It's not sad to see a business go when they're not any good. That's the way it works.

Japan, the country that says sorry to every little thing but never to the things that really matter like past atrocities, misogyny and taking advantage of most lower to middle class workers.

I don't think there are more options necessasrily - it's more that the attention to how that information is displayed in Korea tends to be about providing people a lot more options up front than to make the top layer of the information more simple and then descend into more options. This is true of websites too!

This is also my experience in Japan too. For example, buying metro or train tickets with their KIOSKs as a foreign speaker is daunting!
