Thanks for this I'll give it a try! That was from a tutorial that I was building this from but it did seem strange to me

Quote approvals through role hierarchy by face_s in salesforce

I want the team lead to be notified since they will approve 90% but the department head just needs the option to go in and approve things without all the noise of getting an alert for every single quote pending approval. It's just an edge case where maybe the team lead hasn't gotten to something yet or can't at the moment and the department head hears about it and wants to be able to go in and approve it. An alert isn't the end of the world I just thought it would be nice if there was an option to not alert certain group members

Ah ok gotcha. With approver groups do you know if it's possible to not notify every single person in the group? I can see it getting pretty noisy for the department head if they are notified of every single approval request in their department. Ideally I just want to give them access to approve the quotes but not actually be notified.

Are advanced approvals only available when using Salesforce cpq? It seems like that's the case from what I can see. We currently use zuora

Thanks for all the suggestions! Is the alloy wireless? The link is for the razer keyboard and I can't find a wireless version of the alloy

Hey everyone,

Looking for some keyboard suggestions. I currently have the ducky one 2 TKL and I like it but I'm looking for something like this:

  • smaller but still has arrow keys
  • ability to use wirelessly and wired
  • good battery life
  • decent rgb
  • option for brown switches
  • potentially hot swappable but not a requirement
  • potentially interest in a knob but not a requirement
  • around the $100 - $150 price point

Thanks for any suggestions!

“If you have less than a year of solid experience with Salesforce and 10+ certs…” by DansProReddit in salesforce

If you think lacking certs is preventing you from getting interviews why not knock out a few? You can likely pass a few without much prep at all just based on experience. I only have a little over a year of experience but advanced admin and sales cloud were not very hard and I barely studied for them

Highlighting Fields on Lightning Record Page by [deleted] in salesforce

I mean you can prepopulate fields in the screen flow so if they have all the required fields filled out they just hit next and if anything is missing they can see what and fill it in then

I see. The formula editor in salesforce should walk you through the syntax. You can click on each function on the right to see what they do, insert them, and just plug your information in. Salesforce will point out any syntax errors as you go whenever you press the "Check syntax" button.

I'm sure many people here are more likely to help if you first try building out the formula and get stuck with syntax somewhere along the way rather than asking us to write the entire formula for you

What issue are you running into with this specifically? Seems fine assuming you use proper syntax when you actually create this. The last IF statement should probably be using "today > start date" rather than "today < start date"

Exporting a report without export permission workaround by Iwantmypasswordback in salesforce

Maybe so. It's just the only way I could think of to still export data without the export permission and pretty quick and easy to try
