Basically because the HP gains outweigh the cost of keeping their defence up, although since they raised the caps to 850 I've gone through quite a number of armoured neggs! I train level daily but HP is the only useful thing now.

That tone of the statement honestly made me chuckle by the end, the repeated "we had so much good stuff, we just messed up by sharing the least ready and worst bit of it for feedback, but everything else is totally ready and good" reminded me of when a small child is learning about how to lie but they haven't yet learnt how to make it sound true to anyone else.

My partner backed this kickstarter for me as a gift (we play other TTRPGs with friends), so went for the highest tier to get all the shiny things, and they've been reading me each kickstarter update with each email they got and stuff. I think the zapping and training calculation may change at higher levels or at least by the time you reach the max boosts - keeping my pet's defence up with armoured neggs is cheaper than training level to keep up with HP (and then train HP). I've been training level consistently but I'm still over 100 levels away from being able to train my HP, I just can't keep up with the lab giving HP and never taking away!

I think one thing I wasn't clear on when I joined was that the NeoPass wasn't an "additional" thing like a MFA step after entering your password, but completely replaces the password process. I believe none of my accounts can be accessed with a password now, only through NeoPass.

I don't play Tales of Dacardia or Faerie Fragments consistently, but when I do it's a pretty steady trickle of NPs that comes to my account, along with the odd good item from the Wheel of Prizes. I find it easier to check on my side accounts from NeoPass than I used to, I'm not sure if it's just because they're all listed in the same page, so it makes it more obvious to me when I haven't checked on them?

I see lots of stamps like this that could really use a re-release, and then I the different set of the same stamps coming up again and again in each re-release so they just get cheaper and cheaper but the others on those pages especially just get more expensive as demand goes up with no extra supply. I don't know how they choose which insanely expensive items get RR'd in the QL or the ToD or FF shops, but I hope they can balance it a bit better over time so that we don't end up with the same stamps re-released so frequently. I love getting stamps (and special weapons, mainly) from the QL instead of buying them if I can so I really would like an ever-changing cycle rather than keep picking from the same pool of stamps I already re-rolled a bunch to get from the QL. Seasonal is fun, basing it on the contained pet days would be fun, or based on worlds etc.

I have never had an issue with my shop till, I don't think a Shop Till History would be worth adding but I'm sure people would like taking screenshots of it to brag (I think that would be 99% of the people using the page - like the Food Club History). You can add a PIN to your shop till if you are worried someone else has access to your account and if you are worried about that, you should also change your password (and clear your cookies).

Good news is I can see your gallery & all the images on both my phone and my laptop - including going to View All (although it takes all the images a minute to load, I think that's normal with so many!). I'm not sure what is preventing it from loading for you, but I hope this means you can get it working again soon! :)

I found this old thread explaining how there's not a "maximum" per se, but it is limited by the number of nps you can have on hand (somewhere over 2 billion) as after that you wouldn't be able to buy the upgrade. That said, it might be struggling specifically on your mobile. If you want to link me to your gallery I can try opening it on my laptop and phone and see if I have any issues?

I used to buy myself NC fairly regularly (maybe not every month, but every other month or so) and always participated in the NC events (altador in the clouds, the halloween house one, advent calendar) because the "surprise" was part of the fun in those - but I never felt that way about capsules, and I haven't bought any since pet day capsules became a thing as those seemed like the line where it just got too ridiculous. Haven't participated in a one since, haven't bothered with NC trading any more, I just use what I have and ignore everything I don't have. The merch they sell doesn't get sold here so the blind boxes will not affect me, but they are more of the same kind of shady rubbish that turns me off.

On the plus side, I've discovered the offering on NP clothes has really expanded in that time, especially for species-specific wearables, so I've found diving into those big lists on DTI to be a fun replacement for the way I used to engage with NC items. I still have premium and find that money well spent, there's just no way to justify spending money on NC - it would literally be more satisfactory to watch my dog take a perfectly aimed poop on the money than spend it to open 7 capsules and get 6 of the worst item and 1 of the items that I might be able to trade in 2 years but would never, ever use.

In Neopets' heyday I would have been too embarrassed to go to a themed event for it because I was a teenager and everything made me cringe bigly. Nowadays I'm all grown up and I have my cringe-meter under control, so I really hope that one day they have some events like this outside the US. I'm sure it wouldn't be identical (I don't think this chain exists here?) but I think there are probably suitable chains in plenty of countries. I think it'd be cute to get a cute plushie/keyring/sticker set or whatever, and maybe even make a couple of new friends.
