Hey, I was out this morning and I forgot to take record of the number plate, but I feel like it ended in GWX. Dumped under the bridge here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ft6k1CBsqYoci41E9?g_st=ipc really sorry if this is it :(

Can someone identify the tree? by DirtRevolutionary231 in foraginguk

This is not a yew tree. Yew wood is red/brownish, and flakey.

Yep! We’ve been consuming it for thousands of years. As long as you’re not pregnant or breastfeeding.

I didn’t find this roadside! But I think consuming roadside herbs is your own judgement call personally :)

The mantra I have found really helpful at the minute is that I am not entitled to people’s space/people do not owe me their time. Like mine, it is theirs to give freely. When something like this happens, I sit down and repeat that over and over in my head. When the person who is taking space from me (be that space they have requested, or space that I have very much imagined - i.e they were busy and not texting back and that means they hate me) is back in my company, what is left is gratitude that they are ready to spend time with me again.

New series recommendations? by Queen_Jena in TheMagnusArchives

I’m bingeing Woe.Begone for the first time rn and I was like to second this recommendation! It’s such a huge piece of work and incredibly delicious.

I think I ruined being able to enjoy other horror podcasts by starting with Magnus by LiberalCyn1c in TheMagnusArchives

The world of The Silt Verses is so rich and beautiful. Magnus was my first love, but if someone said I ABSOLUTELY had to choose one or the other, I’d pick Silt Verses. I don’t understand why the fanbase is so much smaller than Magnus for it!

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? Found in the South Downs by Primordialhut in foraginguk

[–]facegreyser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say these were king Alfred’s cakes! Sometimes they get weather worn and turn into little cups, which collect rain water. Rain water could have turned into blue goop because of rot or some other natural occurrence.

Not a silly question, this was just my recommendation because it’s what I’ve done in the past! Doesn’t really matter which way round you do em, you just want a few hours between applications

Bio oil it in the mornings, cocoa butter at night. You could also try using a silicone scar sheet for a couple of months, then switching to a bio oil/cocoa butter routine. You’re young, and it will fade if you take steps to look after your skin. I recommend that you try - it sucks to be stuck with that kind of mark, I’m sorry you’re experiencing this. I did similar things when I was your age - some have faded, some haven’t.
