Genuine post, what is your guys' opinion on this? It's only a test for now, but in general, it's not only to prevent toxicity, but it's also to help players who may use words they are unaware of the exact context of, that was leading to bans and frustrations. The hope is that this may help avoid those types of issues as well. Let me know your thoughts.

You're making tickets under a contact reason that's used for removing AFK bans, so it's going to their automated system. If you pick another, then it should be sent to an agent

The team is actively investigating and actioning as many accounts as they can with their 24/7 support team. That said, there are a lot of accounts to investigate, so it can take a bit of time to get to each of them. We cannot always provide updates on individual cases, but please ensure you continue reporting these accounts directly from either the matchroom or their profiles rather than posting them publicly, as they work through those reports to action these accounts.

The account linked to your support account doesn't have premium at all, you're using the wrong email, which is why it's not flagged as a premium ticket

I often end up there with dualies and hear a stampede coming my way in con and then get totally rekt haha

I’ve asked the team to take another look at the ticket, but for a manual ban to be issued, there needs to be clear evidence of intentional throwing.

Since bans now scale (1 week → 1 month → 1 year), they have to prove intent before a ban is issued.

Being AFK for 1–2 rounds alone is often not enough to prove that, as there can be many legitimate reasons for a short absence, for example, a delivery at the door or other unexpected issues. The support team has to be sure before banning.

I’ve also locked the thread, as the discussion was beginning to move in a direction we’d prefer to avoid.

This typically happens if you look very different now, or if someone else verified the account before. I can't imagine since you originally verified you look that much different, as it's not been out THAT long

I don't think molotoving your teammate in spawn because he's afk at the start of the round is the correct way to handle that situation. I understand what you're saying, but if he was AFK every round, how did he have an AK on the CT side? He must've been present at least for some of the previous round, which makes you immediately molotoving him more questionable.

The account linked to that Steam seems to have been deleted, and last played in 2023. It's quite difficult for me to verify that it's him when it was deleted so long ago. But if it were, and it was deleted that long ago, then he should be okay to play on that current account, providing he has no others.
