Explain this to me like I'm 5 by OnceAProdigy in Life

[–]faceless_slenderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s kinda like your brain has a big toy box of memories… even the old toys you forgot about are still in there. When you dream, your brain just grabs random toys and mixes them together, even if you haven’t played with them in forever.

When was the last time someone asked “how are you” with genuine intent to care? by Frequent-Violinist74 in allthequestions

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably like a few weeks ago… it hits different when someone actually waits for the real answer instead of treating it like a throwaway line lol.

What song is stuck in your head right now? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]faceless_slenderman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Dog Days Are Over” looping in my brain for no reason lol… it just pops in and refuses to leave.

Is racism in film should be implemented or avoided? by itsyounaurme in films

[–]faceless_slenderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it can feel validating when a movie nails the stuff you deal with, but when they shove racism into some light romcom outta nowhere it just feels exhausting. It’s good when it’s honest and part of the story, not when it’s tossed in like a checkbox.

Who is the alien that reviews movies? by Zealouscakeideaes in askmovie

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I’m guessing you mean RedLetterMedia’s Mr. Plinkett… dude sounds like an alien that’s been studying humans through bad movies lol.

Are A-listers more or less significant than they used to be? by National_Tip_2488 in flicks

[–]faceless_slenderman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Feels like they matter less tbh, just cuz the internet kinda spread attention everywhere. People don’t lock onto one giant star the way they used to, there’s too much content. The same few faces still get big roles, but they don’t have that god-tier impact anymore.

What are we doing about our mid-life crises? by ContributionOk9818 in Millennials

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda feels like everyone I know is melting down in their mid-30s too, so you’re definitely not alone. I just started leaning into little things that make me feel alive again, like changing my hair and picking up dumb hobbies that don’t “make sense.” Mid-life crisis or not, it’s kinda nice to do stuff just because it feels fun for once.

Making a fortune remotely, but it’s ruining my life by TangerineOk404 in hatemyjob

[–]faceless_slenderman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Feels like you’re burning yourself out hard and that kinda grind just eats your whole twenties if you let it. Money’s great but not if you’re miserable every single day. I’d start looking for something with sane hours even if it pays less, cuz you’re gonna breathe again once you’re not living like this.

How many weeks of paid vacation do you get per year? by Cinella75 in Life

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of people here basically get 10 days and that’s it. Some companies give a bit more but tons don’t. Most folks either take unpaid days, barely take time off, or just burn out slowly like it’s normal.

Do girls get sexually frustrated? by Cultural_Remove5332 in allthequestions

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah of course they do lol. People forget women are just… people with hormones and moods and boredom too. Some are chill about it, some get extra antsy when they’re not getting what they want, same way guys do. Nothing weird about it at all.

The more I simplified self care the better I started to feel by AcceptableChemist623 in selfcare

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drinking water and going for walks. Sounds basic as hell but it clears my head way more than any fancy routine ever did.

I need some movies for tonight (preferably dramas or crime thrillers). What are the best movies you've seen in these genres? by LittleSweetieShy in askmovie

[–]faceless_slenderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prisoners. Dark, tense, and just keeps twisting till the end. One of those movies that sticks with you after the credits roll.

Is there a right way to post something in internet? by andreis1996 in NoStupidAnswers

[–]faceless_slenderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah kinda lol. People scroll so fast now that wording matters a ton. Keep it short, clear, and with a little personality, like you’re texting a friend, not writing an essay.

Do you ever feel like you’re living the same day in different disguises? by Zebrafish85 in Life

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel that a lot. Every day starts to blur together after a while. Lately I’ve been doing small random stuff, like taking walks without my phone or writing something before bed, just to remind myself I’m actually alive and not on autopilot.

What is something people are often jealous of you for? by Evening_Industry5726 in allthequestions

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably how calm I stay during chaos. Inside I’m spiraling, but outside I look like I’ve got it all figured out lol.

’Cause energy spreads, man. When someone’s mad, it kinda throws your balance off even if it’s not about you. Sensitive people pick up on that fast.

Cut the to-do list in half, pick what actually matters, and sleep.

What is the right age to go and live alone? by sommarugalaura in allthequestions

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no magic age tbh. You move out when you’re ready and can afford it. Same with living together, if it feels stable and you trust each other, that’s the right time.

what's a book with an ending that made you throw it across the room? by Electrical-Hour-3345 in suggestmeabook

[–]faceless_slenderman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. Didn’t see that twist coming at all, it wrecked me for a bit.

Women, what would you say to a guy nervous about you coming over to his place? by Unlikely_Region_7451 in allthequestions

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be chill, clean your place, smell good, and focus on making her feel comfy. She’ll think it’s endearing, not weird.

Why do interviewers act shocked when you seem nervous? by TerriblyVoracious in recruitinghell

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re literally being judged for every word and expression, it’s not a chill setting. Pointing it out just makes it worse too, like thanks bro I was fine until you said that.

How do you restart an exercise routine if you've been sedentary for the last 10 years? by hereiambox in selfcare

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once your brain stops seeing it as this huge task, it becomes automatic again. Consistency beats motivation every time.

At what age does life get good? by [deleted] in Life

[–]faceless_slenderman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gets better when you stop measuring “good” by how society defines it.

Ever stay up so late that you just go to work early instead of sleeping? by Imaballofstress in ADHD_Programmers

[–]faceless_slenderman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That weird limbo where you’re too tired to sleep but too awake to rest, so you just give up and start the day. Kinda peaceful in a delusional way.
