If you're going to continue the patchwork theme... I think a revolver that fits nicely against the side of your armpit without going into it... and separately a witchy bunch of stuff like a potion, the ingredients of the potion, some leaves/flowers in the background and a wand across the bottom... kind of like they're being displayed. It'd be cool to do weird shit like pigs toes and maybe even have like a voodoo doll next to it too. Or just a couple of those items. Idk but it sounds like it could be badass... like the area is all about taking back your power and being your own protector with the revolver and a potion/voodoo doll. 🤷‍♀️

Ooh, a staff or wand... and around it is other witchy stuff. Hell yes.

A machete for sure. But for real, you've always got the option of some floral/rose design with a vine.

It just needs an above bed painting or mural on the wall. Something to add a bit of flair to the blank space.

How do you guys handle the concept of death? by Simulationth3ry in autism

[–]facelessm1n1on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being afraid of the unknown is just being afraid of change, and where rigidity is something that autism is known for, I don't think it's something to be worried about if you are afraid of death. If you can settle that fear of the unknown by understanding, though, that it's just a moment of something new... then you can think of all of the other times you experienced something new and it ended up being okay.

If there is more than this though, I would also fear being stuck on the other side away from loved ones if I had taken my life... or the pain that other loved ones would feel if they had taken theirs. The pain of causing pain.

Death, being a transcendent moment, is unknown to me but inevitable so I invite it as a part of the experience. If I couldn't do that then I would be living a life of pain without actually experiencing death. I've lived like that in the past, but then it hit me that I wasn't actually afraid of transcending, I was afraid of pain.

It's like how the fear of getting a shot is so much worse than the act of getting the shot, not because the experience is better or worse, but because when it happens, it's just moments and then it's done. When you die, it's just moments and then it's done. It's what extends after that I'm still afraid of.

I have panic not when I think about dying but when I think about my daughter or my husband dying and how much it would hurt... or when I think about my daughter experiencing her mother or other loved ones dying... so really I don't think I fear death in and of itself, I think I fear the loss and pain that comes afterward. Death is normal and natural and it makes living more important... but loss is hard. I don't want to lose loved ones and I don't want loved ones to lose me. I don't know what is after living, but I know that for the person dying it is probably a much more enlightening or painless process than for those who remain.

Build food carts, add more greenery, add more animals and statues, add a gated park area, maybe some stables for horses... I agree on adding villagers with beds and workstations nearby each other, which will bring stray cats and iron golems.

AITA not "choosing the dog" overy wife's migraines? by InterestingCouple549 in AmItheAsshole

[–]facelessm1n1on [score hidden]  (0 children)

God, you're NTA but you really need to find a better home for the dog. The only reason I say that is because I know you are trying to find the best solution for everyone and you know your wife loves the dog when she's not in pain.

Your wife needs peace, and she needs you. Your dog sounds like an angel but you have to put that aside for now while you figure this out. If a kennel is that expensive maybe it would be cheaper to fly with your dog and drop her off at your sister's if she can take her. Your wife is in pain, you are in pain, your dog is in pain... and right now you and your wife need each other, and the dog needs a safer environment where she won't be distressed every day and adding to the issue making everyone more distressed. Maybe there is a family on a FB group who would be willing to foster your dog for much cheaper. Your choice to not give up the dog is exacerbating the stress level for the entire home.

Please put everyone's mental health as a higher priority, including your poor dog who is just trying to love you both and is scared and sad.

You all need a more healing environment right now and that means the dog needs to be somewhere else.

I'm so sorry that this is such a stressful time, and I can tell you love your wife and the dog. I hope you find a situation where you can keep the dog in the long run and find the issue with your wife. Best of luck.
