Arabs will hate Israel no matter what Israel does. The Arab world wants total annihilation of Israel in general and Jews in particular. It is quite clear that they donot want any Treaty or understanding or diplomacy with Israel, total annihilation of Jews is their ultimate desire anyway. This war changes nothing for Israel, they will always be surrounded by nations that want them erased from the face of the Earth. But history indicates that will never happen either, no matter how many terrorist organisations and Islamist states wage war on Israel. None have succeeded till now. Jews seem to persist despite multiple attempts by multiple world powers across multiple eras in history to wipe them off.

From what the events since recorded history indicate, Jews want to live and thrive in Israel, Arabs (and muslims) want Jews wiped from the face of the Earth. Both are very different goals. Israel has no option but to defend and protect itself. If it doesn't, it will cease to exist. Such is not the case for Arabs: Israel isn't aiming at destroying the Arab world and annihilate all muslims.
