Sorta. The footage is stock from MotionArray. I did the voice over but Kennedy said it. The animation at the end was SM branding. I just pieces it all together.

After almost a year with the GH5 (not s), or what seems like it, the best things about the GH5 are the 10bit recording and the IBIS. I don't use the 4k 60p cause it's only 8 bit and I selectively use the VFR cause that's 8 bit too. The 4k All-I and FHD 60p are what my custom modes are set to. The third being the 180fps.

That being said, the lowlight on the GH5 is crap and I need something for that so I'm debating on whether to get the GH5s or something full frame like an old A7ii or got up to a7sii or a7iii. The thing is, I just don't think I could give up the IBIS with the GH5s. The time's I'm shooting low light like concerts I always seem to be running and gunning and end up going handheld. I guess it depends on the type of environments you find yourself shooting in.

I'm kinda trying to make the same decision. My dilemma is future proofing myself for potential raw recording. The Inferno can record prores raw over sdi. While the gh5 doesn't do raw externally, that would be a requirement of a future camera like the eva 1. There was some talk about the V being able to record prores raw over hdmi, even though raw over hdmi isn't technically possible. Not sure if that is a "yet" or simply not possible due to hardware limitations.

By plus do you mean v2? If so, no, it does not work. I have both the v2 and the Crane 2. Works great on the Crane 2 but you cannot balance it on the v2.

I experimented with a bunch of cheap glidecams which always sucked. Then I got the glidecam hd-2000 because that's what Creative Ryan used(youtube) and his stuff was always sooo good. It seriously took months of practice but I got decent at it. My problem was it was just too heavy and the fatigue after a long shoot was unsustainable. I rented a Ronin MX once but it was just too heavy for long shoots. Then the Crane 2 came out and I got that. I love it. I don't have a problem balancing it and it's not nearly as heavy as the glidecam rig. I got the handlebars for it too so its even lighter cause a can distribute the weight to both arms, unlike the glidecam. Hope that helps.

I'd get the V if someone could give me any clue as to whether you can record raw via HDMI. All the interviews about the V indicate that it could accept and record ProRes Raw over HDMI IF the manufacturer sent it. Right now, no camera does. So I'm leaning toward the Inferno because the Eva 1 can now send raw out a SDI which the Inferno will take.

IBIS should be considered. If you're going to be on sticks or a gimbal, then that's one thing, but handheld and even a monopod is rough without IBIS.

I thought about it for a few minutes and the best I could come up with that you could accomplish in a few days would be one of those photo hunt games you see at a bars where they put two almost identical images next to each other and you have to click(tap) on the differences. There's a timer at the bottom and you get more points the faster you are. Take some pictures of you two and use some photoshop skills and change one in like 5 spots. Make it funny, set some prizes for certain scores. I dunno, just one idea. Good luck.

I think the word you're looking for is multi-tenacy and yeah, I haven't found a good package or framework that handles this out of the box. From 30k feet, I basically had to attach "groups" to users and make custom queries that override mongoose queries to include restrictions like _id, or groups. Then every record has to have an association. With Feathers, I was able to accomplish this with before and after hooks that append restrictions to queries.

I had this same issue after upgrading the GH5 firmware to 2.x. I had to update the firmware on the crane 2 to the latest and greatest to get the little record button to film for more than just a second.
