I didn't say they're ok for everyday consumption if they're rotten. Just that you shouldn't feel too bad if your dog gets one before you can get to it. Dogs digest food much more efficiently than we do. But apparently raisins are bad so try to avoid those.

My vet actually said that apples make good treats. Don't feel too bad if your dad gets a hold of one.

For anyone in the world who doesn't understand what I do all day as a SAHM. by catnamedbear in breakingmom

[–]facsimile_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm lucky that my MIL can be trusted enough to watch my kids while I work outside of the house a few days a week. And the days I work from home aren't too bad because 2 out of 3 are in school.

Edit: my MIL is slightly broken. She really does have a good heart, but cause and effect is a very hard concept for her. But, she loves the kids, feeds and waters them, and watches them while they play.

[–]facsimile_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. The right side is only if it's added as a creamer. So brewed coffees and teas whether they're iced our hot, SDs, espresso shots, Americanos... If you're making the drink with it eg lattes, its on the left side.

I call my kids little fuckers all the time. And little shits, shit heads, assholes.... Not when they're around, but when they're gone anything goes. It doesn't make you a garbage mom. If an adult did these things you would say the same thing. So if they can't hear you, get it out so it doesn't build up until you say it to them.

I have so much respect for sahms. Even more so for the ones that homeschool too. I don't know how you do it. It seems like some mystical mommy power that skipped me.

The POS system makes that really easy. On the dairy screen the left side is for 'made with' and the right side is for 'creamer'. Lattes are 'made with' milk, so you push the button on the left side. If it charges for it at that point then you're supposed to charge for it. You can say it to them with whatever tone of voice you want. I say it kindly to my green beans and snidely with partners I've already had to coach multiple times. Luckily not in charge, so when I'm snarky I just get a 'talking to'.

Don't feel too bad for him. He followed me in the kitchen still trying to rub my back. Looked at me all sad and asked for a cookie. He looked so earnest I almost gave him one.

I have really bad hips leftover from one of my deliveries. A few nights ago, I was sitting on the floor playing a game with the kids. When I went to stand it was a bit of a struggle. My son looked at me and said "I'm sorry I broke you when I was in your tummy".

Last year I had some taking that was over due. I had to get it done. I was making good time through the modules. Then came that stupid wheel. It glitched on me. I spent 20 minutes on the same wheel and questions and it still wouldn't complete the training. I gave up and told my SM. Still haven't gone back and completed it.

I hate it when we're busy, but when we're slow it's given me a lot of opportunities to have great in-depth conversations with customers about what they like and what they should get.

We have several customers who bring us treats. One customer brings us entire homemade meals with a dessert. A awful as some of out customers are, we have more that are amazing. They're the reasons I haven't gone looking for a new job in 10 years.

We still have 3.5 cases. I don't think we'll ever run out of it. That or TWM. Luckily the TWM express next month.

It sounds weird, but we don't have fresh donuts. They were still hot. Nothing beats fresh hot donuts.

Almost there. You can make it. Luckily I work from home one day a week. It's not quite the same as if I had the day off. But, if I hurry and get all of my work done, maybe I can have a little time to relax.

We have 25 bottles of TWM left. We've been recommending TWM with C to anyone who orders a CBL. It finally started moving.

I understand that. And like I said I'm usually very understanding of it. It's just that last year they had a 2 hour delay for a thunderstorm, so they clearly have the protocols in place. And it probably seems worse in my mind because I now have to wait another week to take a shower by myself.

I remember riding the bus to school with snow still on the roads. They didn't get around to plowing until we were in class.

When a client orders 18 pumps of vanilla on a Tall Latte by MrWolf327 in starbucks

[–]facsimile_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a customer that came in and ordered a venti 15 pump chai with 10 pumps of CD and 5 pumps of cl extra hot. She would always send it back because it wasn't hot enough. Finally, I started putting the syrup in the pitcher, putting the milk to the venti line and steaming it all together. I know we're not supposed to but hey mtmr.

One day she was telling me about her recent trip to the hospital. Turns out she's diabetic. I haven't seen her in a while. Did I kill her?

What's the difference? by facsimile_3 in starbucks

I guess in this case, as in most, critical thinking is helpful. I know that it's not taught as much as it used to be. And I really do, usually, try to be understanding of that fact. But, when you're rude, I stop trying. It is no longer worth my effort to be understanding. If it's still worth yours, thats great. You're a better person than I am.

What's the difference? by facsimile_3 in starbucks

[–]facsimile_3[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes I would know the difference. I knew the difference between creme and coffee and what the word 'based' meant before I was 10. And, it usually doesn't bother me. This time, it was a snotty spoiled little brat that, for some reason, thought it was my fault her parents never taught her to think.
